I enquired about the property that I'm going to rent on Monday 2nd August. I received a call from Josh in the March office in relation to the house enquiry, he asked when I would like to view it. I said that evening would be perfect, and I was very surprised when Josh agreed as the time was getting on. Although I was running a little late due to traffic Josh and his colleague waited for me. I had a call from Josh just before he finished today advising everything had gone through and that I could move in on Wednesday this coming week. This guy has gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and is very professional in his attitude and polite and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend the company enough but more importantly Josh Taylor as he is a very enthusiastic guy who will go far in this business. We have been dealing with Michelle Dunmore at the March Branch of Sharman Quinney. She has been sorting out all our mortgages. She has been absolutely first class from the first meeting right through to completion. She is really knowledgeable and if we ever need mortgages again, Michelle is the person we want dealing with them. She came up with ideas we didn't even think of or know were possible. Thanks so her we are in a much better position than we ever would have been had we not met her. Our case was super complex with lots of moving parts and she understood it all immediately and came up with fantastic solutions. Couldn't recommend her highly enough. The sale of our property was challenging to say the least close to 2 years in the making overcoming land disputes with large corporate companies ,difficult failings from solicitors ;buyers pulling out and all of this on top of the reason for selling being a separation. Sharman's were the estate agent for the house I was buying. Nicky went above and beyond to make sure the sale went through, which is a lot more than the estate did that I was using. Nicky kept me informed of what was going on and she made sure the sale went through before Christmas. I think if she hadn't been chasing other agents we would of not got the house we wanted. Cannot give Josh enough praise. Both personable and professional, but most importantly made the effort to be highly responsive. Whilst I appreciate that agents are busy, others performance pales in comparison to Josh. Amongst a sea of unanswered calls, callbacks that never materialised, disinterested answers and properties left on the market after being let, Josh went the extra mile. My young family and I were due to move into a property this January. We viewed the property a month before, and Sharman Quinney sent us a contract to sign. Throughout the process communication was very poor. We rang the office more or less everyday in the week up to the move as we had yet to receive a signed contract from the landlord. We were assured everything was progressing but 48 hours before we were due to move in (a date that was agreed by both parties), Sharman Quinney revealed that they had had no contact with the landlord for ten days. Because we were due to be moving in two days time, we had organised movers, new nurseries and schools for our children, and end of tenancy cleaners. All this cost considerable time and money. Sharman Quinney then confessed that the property would not be able to be let to us as there was a burst pipe. Even if this were true, all of this could have been communicated to us days before. If there had been worryingly no contact with the landlord, this should’ve been said to us. Instead, we were left homeless and now have nowhere to move into. As a mother of a family of two children under four, this is incredibly distressing.
