I sold a bungalow with Buckleys some years ago and that went brilliant. I've tried to sell a flat with them recently, few points id like to make. Ensure what was advised during the valuation goes into the contract. They became very contractrual with me over these points. Check around get 3 or 4 valuations but dont just go on price. Buckleys are cheap but value for money for me just wasnt there service wise Viewing issues, they booked 2 or 3 for saturday for after 12. If you have issues with these viewings either no show or delayed. Please dont expect to get any help from anyone at buckleys once theyve shut. refuse any photos to be taken during the christmas period while the tree is up. As they wont come and retake them communication from them wasnt brilliant either, i wont be using buckleys as part of any sale/purchase of any property going forward

Buckley Brown provided an excellent service in the sale of our property. Having dedicated teams for each aspect of the sale really helped move things along quickly. At the start of the process the valuer was professional, knowledgeable and well informed and gave an honest appraisal about the value of the property which really assisted us to advise our relative and subsequently achieve a sale. Jemma in sales progression was superb, answering our questions very quickly and communicating with all parties to get the information that was needed to move us to exchange and completion. She was efficient and professional at all times. A delight to work with!

Excellent from start to finish. The support between offer acceptance and exchange was particularly great - there were issues further up the chain which Debbie chased up every week, something none of the other agents in the chain seemed to bother doing. She kept in touch with my buyer and kept him on side through the process. Only small negative would be the price of the solicitors - they recommended a company called Avrillo for the conveyancing who they partner with. While the solicitor was competent, they were very expensive with lots of additional costs added which put the price up significantly. The costs are in the small print and implied as optional - they definitely covered themselves legally and I should in hindsight have looked more closely at the T&Cs, but still not great. Probably cost me an extra £2k compared to most firms. So in conclusion, I would 100% recommend Buckley Brown, and would use them again - they’re probably the best estate agent I’ve used, but would advise again using their partner solicitors.

Had the pleasure of using Buckley Brown which I now agree is the best estate agent in Nottinghamshire. By luck my sales negotiator was Jack, and he has managed several properties personally in the portfolio, and has achieved very high prices! Any problem he’s been there at hand, whenever I have needed him. Very smart and I am very impressed with his expertise, if you need to sell your property I suggest you ask for Jack, and you will be in safe hands. Reviews are not reflective of my experience. I contacted to view a property-they were not transparent and received a call on my viewing day to cancel my visit as an offer had been accepted. Not informed that there were offers. Director ( Jon Brown) visited my property for an initial valuation. He gave a very impressive speech but failed to send an evaluation even after I rang to request it. He stated he'd compete it over the weekend. I'm still waiting and that was October. I have understandably listed it with Fiddler Taylor who immediately sent me a valuation and their terms.

We saw Jon for the valuation and were immediately impressed by his professionalism and pragmatic approach. He was straightforward, open and clear about what we could expect. After that we were impressed by Amelia who handled the negotiations once we had an offer and that went through really quickly. Our sale progression was handled by Debbie Straw and this is where I feel Buckley Brown is a cut above. Debbie was always reachable, provided updates on a weekly basis and gave me a real sense of security. She worked with solicitors, other estate agents and our buyers to keep the process moving and to get us moved when we wanted. Debbie is worth five stars on her own. Outstanding! No need to shop around, as nobody does it better than Buckley Brown. From the moment you walk into one of their branches, to the moment you hand over your keys, every part of the journey is handled with expertise, professionalism, attention to detail, a personaly tailored approach, and above all kindness and understanding. Our journey started with John and his videographer creating an amazing promo video, and complete description. Amelia took over for the sales process, and arranged viewings and kept us up to date at ever stage, so we knew exactly what was happening. Finally the star of the show was Maddie, who through one of the toughest and problematic sales progressions they had ever experienced, handled everything calmly, quickly, professionally and with a genuine desire to get the sales completion over the line. We cannot thank Maddie enough for all the effort she put in, and her positive attitude, with daily updates, which kept us believing our dreams would come true. Rhea also deserves a mention for how she stepped in to manage the challenging issues, with the same warmth and professionalism, while Maddie took some annual leave. It's not very often I praise a company for outstanding customer service but Buckley Brown were excellent ! Within a week of the house going on the market, I received an offer for over the asking price ! All the team were very professional, I was kept updated on a weekly basis and a special shout out to Debbie Straw, always went the extra mile when it came to returning information, phone calls etc. After being in the same house for 22+ years, it was all a bit of a daunting experience for me, but everything went like clockwork on the moving day which was a great relief!! We had Maddie Cordon as our sales progressor and she was absolutely outstanding throughout our sale. Although the process became very stressful at times, Maddie never gave up chasing solicitors and other agents up and down the chain, which made a huge difference. She was relentlessly proactive, calling every week to push for updates and keep everything moving. Maddie also stayed in regular contact with our buyers, which I know they appreciated as much as we did. She was always available for a call, incredibly supportive, and never made us feel like a nuisance. Her persistence, dedication, and reassurance made an extremely stressful sale far more manageable. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough along with Buckley Brown themselves. They managed to sell our property quickly, efficiently and were competitively priced.
