We sold and purchased using Fenn Wright Manningtree and I cannot recommend this estate agency highly enough. We were kept informed at all times, updated on progress and advised accordingly as and when different situations occurred (as they do in the buying and selling process). Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like every call and enquiry were welcome, and explanations of processes given at each stage as and when required. We encountered one or two issues with our seller's estate agent (another company in the village) which eventually began to impact on the entire process; Fenn Wright advised us accordingly and we were able to resolve their issues (even though it was not Fenn Wright's responsibility to do so!). They did everything they could to meet a deadline we had in mind, and I am delighted to say we exchanged and completed very quickly once ready. We have continued to seek their advice and guidance with regards to future purchases since we envisage another move in a few years, they have been happy to advise accordingly and remain friendly and approachable beyond our relationship with the purchase and sale. I have no hesitation recommending Tony and his team at Fenn Wright Manningtree.

Excellent. Experienced and it shows. The team led by Tony know the market well and pricing within the local areas and importantly the team pitch prices at the right estimate in our view. Great communicators. Great at bringing in potential buyers and then following up with them and us as sellers. So much better than the local agent frankly who seem to consistently pitch the prices too high. You also mention key pieces in your details which are critical e.g. pubs, restaurants, schools, train stations etc. Total respect to you Tony and thank you for making this whole sale stress free and win-win for all concerned. I would thoroughly recommend you as agents to family and friends.

Despite a protracted and frustrating purchase of our house, due mainly to it being a probate sale, I have only words of praise for the way Kirsty supported us throughout the long process. One of the worst valuators

One of the worst valuators. I had signed up for an Octopus Commercial Bridging Finance deal and Fenn Wright commercial were sent to perform valuation. They took 8 weeks to respond to emails and communication and after persistent chasing they finally came on the 10th week, they simply dont respond at all. On they day of valuation, came a senior commercial valuator and a trainee. The senior guy did nothing but talk on phone outside and let the trainee do the job himself, he dint know how to use the tools to do the measurements.They went back and no response for about 6 weeks! then after chasing again sent a report with absolute terrible low down valuation with comparable as far away of 25 miles! In the same street there are commerical comparables which they did not put on their report, instead somewhere far of. After push back and arguments, they sent another report after 2 weeks with some decent valuation. Meanwhile my offer with Octopus had expired and had to reapply and ended up getting an investor loan and by the time I was granted bridging finance, I was almost half way through the project refub

My wife had to find an estate agent to sell her Aunt's property. As we don't live in the area it was a bit of a random choice to be honest, but from the very first phone call to Kirsty at Fenn Wright in Stanway to book a valuation, to Paul coming to the property to value and take details (the sales particulars looked amazing) right through to great advice and fabulous sales progression by Kirsty in what turned out to be a lengthy process although the property sold on day one. We couldn't have made a better choice if we’d tried. We had weekly updates from Kirsty, quite often before my solicitor updated us.
