Couldn't give me a clear answer on the fee's they charge to sell a house, and tried to bamboozle me with all different ideas of fee's and would not explain any of them unless I was ready to sell right now.

TrustpilotA buyer found but communication not as good as usual
i wasn't kept informed of the viewings and feed backs until i chased (perhaps as Reeds Rains know me, i'm beginning to be taken for granted a little) but when i've made calls to the office they were always polite, professional and courteous and answered my questions. a buyer was found for my property in 4 or 5 weeks at a lower end price but the main objective was acheived and i'd use them again.

I would recommend you don't rent from this company for a number of reasons:1) Fire safety: I place this at the top as the most serious. My apartment had damaged fire detectors that I made Reed Rains aware of. This was ignored for over half a year. As well as this the batteries were 8 years out of date indicating that safety checks are not in place or followed.2) Communication: Any times during or after my tenancy I required information in often simple matters it took weeks for a reply. Often this reply was to place responsibility at another of their colleagues or did not answer the original question.3) Behaviour: Many of the employees I have had the misfortune of having dealt with have been quite passive aggressive and unprofessional. It gives the feeling that you are just an inconvenience for them. 4) Deposit: This inevitable ties in with the previous two points, over two months past my leaving date and I am still waiting on the return of my deposit. This is due to the previously mentioned communication and behaviour issues I've encountered. Whenever I've asked for any evidence to back any claims it is met with a long wait and an inadequate and often as mentioned passive aggressive reply.I'd much rather not have to write a review but feel it is important to hopefully steer a potential victim away from this company.

GoogleI used Reeds Rains when purchasing my flat recently and their service can’t be faulted. Thanks to Shak and the team especially Sofia for helping with my mortgage. It made my first time buying experience excellent and they were always available for any questions or queries I had. Highly recommend.

Not impressed with them I find the reaction for booking a valuation lacks ......its very mechanical even though they offer a free valuation ( only if you are selling NOW ) they come across arrogant and not wanting to offer a service that would reflect what you are selling They miss the point. We are the client and they earn from the sale but they come across as they were in the 80's. Poor service Use another agent is my advice

Completely unprofessional, have no idea how to deal with foreigners coming to the UK for the first time for work, generic responses just to get you off, not thinking how it could affect their business in the long run. Such a shame for them for losing a loyal tenant. Guess I dodged a bullet by signing up with another agency.

My experience with reed rains was extremely positive. Karis and Sarah kept me in the loop every step of the way. In the day of completion we had a hard time but Karis helped us through it all. I am very thankful for what they have done

We bought a property from Hanley Branch in Stoke On Trent and were promised that the property rubbish was cleared out and the the Brach Manager confirmed this.But the rubbish was left in the cellar and after numerous request to clear it was not dealt with.We do find this very unprofessional and now he is even stopped communicating !

Tried to arrange a viewing but as I work full time and can't take calls I could only converse over email, something which isn't an issue with other estate agents at all. Reedsrains wouldn't allow this so I can't even arrange a viewing. Absolutely ridiculous and they need to review their policy. Information given over email is much clearer than over the phone.
