Kathryn Congdon and her colleagues at Pennine Kennedy helped me with the title transfer of the family home into my sole name. I can wholeheartedly underwrite the praises from previous reviewers: Swift, diligent correspondence, knowledgeable, friendly and very proactive. Kathryn and her colleagues made me feel that I was in very good professional hands and very well being taken care off. This was at a more than reasonable cost. It was entirely irrelevant that I am based in London and Pennine Kennedy are based in Manchester. I can highly recommend them.

I would whole heartedly recommend Pennine Kennedy. If you're looking for efficient and friendly solicitors who will keep you in the loop through every step of your house sale, this is definitely the firm for you. The first firm of conveyancers we instructed had the misfortune to be hacked and our sale was failing to proceed. Kathryn at Pennine Kennedy picked up our case and we have managed to complete incredibly swiftly. The first firm was large, impersonal, inefficient and frustrating to work with. The contrast could not have been more stark. I've learnt to avoid such big firms like the plague and stick with Pennine Kennedy where every interaction, with every member of staff was highly efficient and pleasant. My questions were always answered fully and speedily and I was always kept informed of progress and timescales. Most importantly, I was treated with courtesy and respect. They literally could not have done a better job! Thank you to the whole team.

We would highly recommend Pennine Kennedy for conveyancing. Kathryn helped us with the sale of our house and then purchase of a new property and we can't praise her highly enough. She is incredibly knowledgeable, really helpful and always super quick to respond to any queries. We had a complicated property to buy and a short timescale and her efficiency made all the difference - it is so good to have someone acting for you that you can completely rely on. Her friendly manner and good humour is so reassuring especially when the whole process is new to you. Thank you for guiding us through, and going above and beyond!

My experience with Pennine Kennedy was excellent! Having been to and fro with our former solicitor for months, we were on the cusp of losing our house purchase when we were prompted to seek further advice. Kathryn from Pennine Kennedy was amazing from the off, gave us pro bono advice and when our former solicitor refused to take it or do the work needed to progress the sale, Kathryn took our case on and managed to complete the sale within 2 weeks! Always extremely professional and prompt with communications, her diligence and competence is second to none. I cannot recommend her enough and will always use PK in future. The staff were very friendly, professional and always very helpful and we were particularly impressed with how well Kathryn handled our house sale and our new house purchase. We interviewed all of the well established agents in the area before choosing Penning Kennedy, as we were impressed by the understanding of the local market, the approach to the sale process, and the honest explanation behind valuation etc. Felt a lot more live we were being well advised than sold to.The photos and videos and associated brochure were excellent, and the approach to viewings and filtering of potential buyers worked perfectly. Arguably it's an easy market to sell in, but Pennine Kennedy found us some perfect buyers in no time at all.They were always on hand to give good advice during the usual conversations between offer and exchange, and the completion day went without a hitch.We can't objectively compare as this is the first sale we've been through for many years, but subjectively we received an excellent service and they were one of the best value by agents fees etc. No little extras, no excessive tie ins, no gotchas, just an honest good service at a great price.

The photography and video tour was really impressive and the service exceptional. Within a couple of weeks we had accepted an offer following just one day of viewings. I used Pennine Kennedy estate agents for the marketing and sale of my property, and their solicitors for the conveyancing. I'm based overseas and was able to complete the entire process by phone and email, which was a huge help. I had envisioned that I'd have to get on a plane to fly over and sort things out, but they managed everything for me with dedication and care. The team were professional and courteous, and kept me up to date with developments on a very regular basis throughout the entire period. Their rates were very reasonable too. I was quite surprised at the superb level of service for what was probably a fairly run-of-the-mill transaction for them. I felt like they considered my process to be their priority - on both the estate agent and solicitor interactions. Can't recommend highly enough.

A massive thank you to all at Pennine Kennedy.Kourosh helped me buy my first investment property and guided me through a process which was totally new to me. He gave his time willingly and I never felt rushed when making big decisions. He completed the sale within five weeks and I was away on holiday for two of those!Richard then helped with all the marketing and viewings. Again he and Edward advised me throughout and kept me updated. I was totally new to this and rang them constantly for advice but they never made me feel like a nuisance.My overriding impression is that the staff work well as a team, they always pass on messages to each other and I felt like I could speak to any of them and they knew who I was. Every member of the team is professional, friendly and helpful. A big thank-you to Richard and Gina at Pennine Kennedy for their excellent comprehensive services all under one roof.They were friendly, professional and efficient; answering queries and returning calls promptly - no need to hassle them! Richard readily gave his time, which was unstinting and excellent advice - we never felt 'rushed'. We also really appreciated the fact that he was prepared to accompany every viewing at whatever time was suitable, accommodating both us as the sellers and any prospective buyer - in other words - no 'block - viewing'.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
