What a great experience!! Not the sale itself which was a nightmare but the service I received from Pennine Kennedy was amazing. Sympathetic and professional during an extremely tense time I cannot recommend them Highly enough.m especially Noman and Zakkia who made the difference between it being a nightmare start to finish and also the difference between losing £42,000 and not. They saved me.

I had a disappointing experience with Pennine Kennedy during a recent property purchase in the UK. I was assigned Noman Hassan and Zakia Razzaq as my points of contact and was under the impression they would provide legal guidance. However, I found that they primarily acted as intermediaries rather than offering proper legal advice. In particular, Noman Hassan gave me inaccurate assurances, and I was later surprised to discover contract terms that contradicted what I had been told. Their service felt unhelpful and transactional and I had to follow up multiple times, with little regard for client protection. Their fees were high, and at times it felt as though their interests were aligned more with the seller’s solicitors than with mine. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative legal representation.

I would highly recommend. I used Pennine Kennedy solicitors to extend the lease on my flat. It wasn't as straightforward a process as I originally thought with a number of issues experienced with the Land Registry and my own mortgage company. Keyvan and Farah were excellent and really helped me through the process. When I needed to resolve the lease extension quickly, Farah stepped up and went the extra mile to help resolve the issues and cut through the bureaucracy with the Land Registry and my own mortgage company. Great service all round.

I used Kathryn Congdon to undertake the conveyancing on both the sale and purchase of a property. Kathryn (and her colleagues) were very efficient, kept me informed at all times, and were able to explain some of the more complex issues in clear, everday English. The purchase side of the transaction was quite tortuous but Kathryn made the experience much more bearable with her calm and reassuring approach. Would highly recommend.

My family have been using Pennine Kennedy Solicitors for years, they are very professional, reliable and trustworthy. They are located in the heart of a Chorlton which has a nice community/ family vibe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Kourosh is exceptionally helpful and will go above and beyond to ensure you receive a good service. He provided me with all the help and support I needed as a first time buyer and is always there to give mortgage advice. Pennine Kennedy is the best Solicitors in the area!

Selling our parents’ house via Penine and using their solicitor’s facilities was an almost stress free experience despite it being a heart wrenching decision to part with our childhood home. Right from the first day of estimating our house through to house and up to completion they showed efficiency, patience and empathy which is important when your client is elderly. Penine found a buyer within days of putting our house on the market and their pricing was the most competitive and fair. Richard was very good at explaining the implications of the five good offers. In fact both buyer and seller were treated with respect and consideration through out the process as it kept us well informed. The house took less than three months to complete on. It would have been quicker but for the delay caused by the first rung of our chain. The good communications between Khourosh our solicitor and Richard our estate agent, ourselves and our buyers made the process seem seamless. Thank you Both!

I have recently completed on my first home with Pennine Kennedy acting on my behalf. As soon as i had first contact with Kathryn, I was immediately impressed with the ease and efficiency of communication. Kathryn and Shah and the wonderful woman at reception are all really friendly and down to earth which is important to me, and having not worked with solicitors before, not entirely what I was expecting. I ended up up completing on my house in less than half the time that people estimate. It was incredibly fast. Partly because of the situation, but certainly part of it was due to the efficacy of Pennine Kennedys. They are excellent at what they do. And lovely people. It has been a pleasure to work with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and I would certainly use them again in the future.

I have been trying to get in contact with the business for the last few days to discuss an emergency situation that is making my rental property unliveable and have had no responses to my emails, calls and voicemails which is incredibly alarming and distressing! I have carried out an investigation on this business and can see that there's no current listings for rentals or properties for sale since Feb 2024, theres no new ads or content on their social media channels which leads me to believe that they have gone out of business recently or has been taken over by people who are not capaple of running the business efectively. I also recently called the solicitors next door and I could tell by her tone that they are now frustrated with the calls coming in for the estate agents tenants. My biggest concern is not only my present living situation but that the funds I have paid in rent are no longer reaching my landlord which may lead to an unfair eviction and my clean record tarnished should I wish to rent another property. If the people currently running the business see this PLEASE CONTACT ME and run your business correctly! Update: managed to get in contact with my landlord to ask if the funds have been getting to them and they confirmed my rent has been late every month since May 2024 and that on the rare occasions that the estate agents respond to chaser emails they have blamed me for paying late. Luckily my landlord didn’t believe that as I have paid my rent on time every month for the last 3 years. This business is a mess for both landlords and tenants! Just quit and sell now as the business is ruined by this pathetic mismanagement

Everything was explained to us, and they were easily contactable when we had questions about the process (which was pretty frequently as we were first time buyers). The price was very reasonable, and Kourosh worked tirelessly to prevent our mortgage from falling through at the last minute. He kept us updated at every step, and things went through swiftly. Kourosh and the team are friendly and professional and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to friends and family.

I'd like to extend my thanks to (in no particular order) Richard, Kourosh, Toni, Aisha and Keyvan at Pennine Kennedy following the marketing and sale of our old property, and purchase of our new home.We chose the firm following a nightmare sale and purchase during early 2011. We sold our previous property at that time via two separate estate agents and solicitors, with that solicitor also acting for our purchase. Things weren't running smoothly, and Richard at that time identified the problems and worked hard to rectify all issues, effectively satifying the entire chain. That was all I needed to know to make a decision on our next agent and conveyancing appointment when the time came to move on.That time came in around February of this year. We instructed Pennine Kennedy to market our property as we were wanting to move on quickly in order to get our youngest daughter inro our chosen primary school for september. Within 10 working days, we had accepted a solid offer for our home from a lovely couple who were buying for the first time. After a week or so of searching, we found our ideal home and had an offer accepted. By this point, we are at the back-end of February.The chain was swiftly established and the closely-knit team at Pennine Kennedy wasted little time in establishing lines of communication throughout the chain, and ensuring all parties were working together synchronously and with full disclosure.By the beginning of April, all local authority searches had been completed throughout the chain, enquiries had been made, answered and accepted, and completion dates and requests for funds to the lenders had been requested. Due to circumstances outside of their control, exchange of contracts happened the working day before completion but never the less, the team worked hard to ensure that it went through. Expectations were well managed and delivered in realistic terms, with a great deal of care taken to ensure that their clients actually understand the intricacies of such transactions. They'll tell you as much or as little as you want to know dependant on how "hands-on" you want to be, which for me personally was great as I learnt a lot about what happens during every step of the process. We also noticed that to the most part, Pennine Kennedy were the parties driving the chain forward, which is what we found with our previous experience also. I guess you could call them "chain drivers" (I'll get my coat).We completed our move on April 27th and couldn't be happier with our choice. Pennine Kennedy's experience and knowledge (particularly of the M21 and M16 postcodes) shone through as paying customers, just as it had when we were just another link in the chain.Finally, their prices are competitive and to be honest, even if we'd have found anywhere offering lower rates (we didn't check) we would have used them anyway. It'd possibly be unrealistic to market our current property with them in the future as we're in a different area, but we'd certainly use them again for conveyancing.If you choose to use them, you'll get to know all of the team very quickly by name, for all the right reasons. If you call, they pick up. If you email, you'll get a quick response.All points considered, it just wouldn't be right for us to rate them at anything less than 5 stars. We wouldn't recommend anybody else.

I sold my house with the estate agents and the solicitors did the legal work. I had no problems at all, my house sold very quickly and all the legal side went very smoothly! PK fees were reasonable in comparison to other estate agents and solicitors in the area. I would like to thank Gina & Richard for there great service!

Do not recommend the solicitor who dealt with my case. Costs were not properly explained. Details of other clients were in my file. Made a complaint & was not satisfied with response. Decided to take my case to the Legal Ombudsman for poor service.They agreed and found in my favour. I was awarded a refund of some costs & compensation. The firm then created every obstacle they could to avoid payment. Will never use this firm again do not rate. Had to give one star to leave this review. Would not have done if not forced to do so.

In the past, we have dealt with other conveyancing solicitors who were unhelpful and very slow to reply to correspondence, so this was really a breath of fresh air. Would highly recommend.
