GoogleRecently sold my home through Jordan Fishwick. Having agreed a sale a few weeks before lockdown, there were inevitable delays and frustrations but the team were always on hand for advice and their communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Although I was impressed with the entire team, I mainly dealt with Maura who was quite simply amazing.

I contacted them to arrange a viewing to buy a flat. They asked for a mortgage in principle or proof of cash(?!?) just to book a viewing! - nonsense and unprofessionalMore importantly, the person on the phone was entirely rude, unprofessional, patronising and I honestly believe racist. To add to that they were also full of lies saying that all agencies need mortgage in principle to arrange a viewing. - I've personally had several viewings now and in the past without a decision in principle.Maybe they were having a bad day but honestly I would never trust this person and consequently the agency to handle such a transaction for me. If I were someone considering selling or letting with them, I'd stay clear. - hope this reaches people and the agency to improve their service.

After 3 years spent in the UK for work, I can definitely say that I'll be leaving behind a piece of my heart in this country, impressed about the British spirit, kindness and lifestyle. hardly ever I've met someone rude for the expection of this company I'm reviewing, and I'm speaking in particular of the branch that covers the Didsbury area in Greater Manchester. As a tenant I've been treated very poorly and I'll give you few examples:1. they've left me with a broken window during winter for months,2. I've lived in an apartment with cealing all stained by infiltration due to tenants living above my apartments and due to a very bad weather condition that ruined part of the livingroom ceiling close to the window, and they've never organized repainting, even though we've asked for years.. (and we're talking about a nice apartment in a very nice area in Manchester)2. disrigarding any kind of decency they've increased rent every year only few days before the end of the contract leaving me with no choice but to renew, it's ok to increase rent, don't get me wrong, but doing it a handful of day before the end of the contract is quite underhand... don't get me wrong, legal, but still, that's the worst part, they'll always find the legal way to screw you over3. After 3 years, even after proving a long time notice before I was leaving (anticipating the end of the contract of basically 1 month only...) they've exposed to me an absurd exit fee, and a daily rate until the start of a future new tenancy. With that scenario I kindly asked to put the house on the market to not incur in even more costs, but they've replied by saying "no exit fee in advance, no house on the market"... even though I'm leaving the apartment in 2 weeks...I have to say that only "supporting" the landloards is not a good way of doing business and treating people like that is never acceptable.Thank you all for reading, please if you can, don't rent any apartment managed by this company.

GoogleI'm really pleased with Jordan Fishwick's service, especially with Yasmine McCarthy who helped me during the process. It really help in every single details, really accommodating and you feel very much appreciated as a human ( and customer). When you're from abroad and look for a new home with a lot of new rules that you not really familiar with, you really need someone like them that really care what you need with good communications. I'm so lucky and happy to have them and found a place I can call home in Manchester. Highly recommended! x

Particularly want to praise Stewart Grundy (continuation) for his wisdom, dedication and willingness to go the extra mile to help clients. He saved the day when my chain nearly fell apart and his support and good humour stopped me having a nervous breakdown. Maura Duffy (office manager) was also amazing, providing me with expert advice in all areas of the move, pushing solicitors and purchaser to keep things moving, and providing valuable emotional support and good humour throughout the process. All members of the Chorlton team have a high degree of property selling expertise, but it was the human touch that made the difference. Thanks to them I am now moving to my dream house! It was a very unprofessional agency. They refused to support my sister-in-law in informing the landlord about the damages in the house. They forced me to pay for one full year of rent for the lady. She has been so depressed and frustrated. The house has a leaking bathroom and a terrible basement. They refused to allow me to access the Landlord.
