GoogleWorking with S&M was a breeze from start to finish. They respond very quickly to any emails, calls etc. They are very comfortable giving advice and handling the situation. The online booking system is amazing it made it so easy for me to manage viewings. Would work with them again for sure - we sold our flat in a week!

GoogleAttempting to move to England after accepting a job (I am in another country currently). Called the office and staff was very rude and unhelpful in my situation. Told them I had no one in the UK and couldn't get there until I was moving, the man was very aggressive and unhelpful. Do not recommend for non UK residents.

GoogleIf the other reviews aren't enough to warn you - not only did they never fix anything which left my kitchen with a brown water leakage on the counter (1-2 pints a day) from upstairs that their contractor said it's probably from the upstairs toilet for weeks, when they DO decide to fix it they will come in your house UNANNOUNCED. Check your emails after 5pm every day to avoid surprise visitors in your house. I suffer from PTSD, absolutely no consideration about my rights to live undisturbed/consideration how you'd feel with a stranger coming in your house with close to no warning. They told me they'll come in 3 times and didn't show up and then a man entered my house without a warning. No calls, no knocks, no letters.

GoogleHonestly I thought my old agency was bad... this people are the worse of the worst... don’t care about you as soon as they get their money... I don’t even know where to begin with. While they knew I was pregnant they rented me a place full of humidity and that it’s just not right. they said it was cleaned by professionals and it was dirtier then I could possibly explain... holes on the floor full of spiders and different types of bugs Curtains falling on the floor making holes on the walls. It took them weeks to just sort out the boiler. I have been waiting for almost 2 months for them to sort out the rest of the issues and they couldn’t care less. The landlord lady promises things and then she takes it back... I don’t know who is worse Jordan Fishwick or this lady that is hiding behind them.... I’m sure that it doesn’t matter how many bad reviews we put they won’t change anything because they don’t care... that’s why their reviews and stars are 2 out of 5 but please people make sure YOU don’t trust them and never rent from them. Just because they won’t help you the way an agency supposed to.

GoogleI have endured nothing but bad experiences with this landlord. No repair is ever fixed without me chasing it 4 times. I have faced surprise inspections with little or no notice and criticised for the way my personal items things look at the property, however they choose the shower curtains of all things. I have had many letters sent to me demanding over due rent only to find it out to be their mistake and the mistake to be repeated a week later. We had a wet floor for over a week over christmas due to a leak they didn't get fixed for us after us reporting it several times. We asked for simple changes to be made to make the property more insulated such as carpet instead of laminated flooring. To this they told us the changes had been agreed so we would renew our contract and then just laid carpet down (with no under lay so it is as cold as ever) so there is now a freezing concrete floor with a single layer of carpet over it and subsequently a large gap between the skirting board and the carpet all of the way around the room. All in all bad communication and bad at following up anything you'd expect them to do as your agent. The reviews on here seem to reflect the same experience where the tennent is very unhappy with the experience.

GoogleMy wife and I were delighted with the attention to detail and professionalism Di and the team in North Berwick showed when selling my mother in law’s property. Excellent communication and there was always someone available to speak to when required. The property was put to market and sold within four weeks, no hesitation in recommending the Simpson Marwick North Berwick team.
