GoogleAppalling AVOID! From the high pressure joining video call. The Low marketing price, (45k under our asking price) the app doesn't work correctly, can never get to speak to anyone in the office, Ryan was answering emails but as we come to the end, that has stopped. If I could give them Zero stars, this would be more accurate. AVOID !

The lack of communication is unreal from this company.When calling them or being informed the property you’re about to buy is actually sold is so unprofessional. Next time when buying a property I will ensure it’s not through this estate agents Annie was the agent I used and still didn’t call me to actually tell me the property was sold after I was actually in the process with my mortgage and solicitorAbsolutely disgusting

TrustpilotReally smooth from start to finish
Really smooth from start to finish. Ryan was great, very easy to contact when discussing an offer. No hard sell (we have been through our fair share of pushy estate agents!) negotiating was fair and quite transparent. The online portal was great for feedback etc. just a shame you can’t see the info you’ve uploaded saved anywhere. Didn’t know much about express before this sale - but can’t fault so far!

I had had my property on the market with another estate agent for 7 months before I decided to try something different and made the decision to give Express Estate Agents a go. From my initial meeting I felt confident that they were the agents who I wanted to sell my property, after giving up hope that it would never sell and they didn’t disappoint. My allocated agent, Luke was polite, friendly and very informative, he kept me up to date on all processes from booking the viewings to feedback without delay. Whenever I called he was always on the end of the phone to answer my queries. My property from being listed to accepting an offer took only 6 days which shows the professionalism and dedication of their guarantee that they would sell my property in 30 days. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends it was a great experience after losing all hope that I was never going to sell.. Thank you Express Estate Agents for everything.

Dealing with Lauren and Ryan has been an absolute pleasure . It’s been the easiest stress free dealings I have ever dealt with . Would recommend the company right from dealing with Charlotte right at the beginning it’s been very professional and very easy going . Nothing has been a problem and everything has been explained and made simple from the start . Would recommend express estate agents and their staff . A number one from me

I have mainly dealt with Carmine who has been friendly, helpful and informative as have all members of the team I have had contact with.I have scored a 4 rather than a 5 as I was unable to contact any member of the team on a Saturday although I had been told the company were to be open.Additionally, one number for the office dropped out a few rings after choosing the relevant option.

GoogleTruly awful service. I'm currently dealing with lots of estates agents as looking to buy a house and this one is by far the worst. I have been constantly chasing them, they never get back to me or answer my questions. Richard is awful, not interested at all. Would not work with or use personally. Good luck to anyone trying to actually sell a house via these guys!!!!

Good communication, quick responding to updates. It took 2 weeks to get out properly advertised and it was sold in 8 days. Would recommend as the whole process was quick and easy thanks to Annie and Lola.

First of all, the agent we spoke with was very polite and attentive. She had obviously taken time to read up on our details and listened to everything we said. We found it very interesting that there are up to 744 different online sales portals within the UK that can be utilised by estate agents, although, aside from the major ones that virtually every estate agent uses, from the few names mentioned, we had only heard of one!We are eagerly awaiting the list of other portals so that we can use this to help the search for our next home.There was a lot of play on how a property listing virtually disappears from the top of a search list on the big two portals, however, this is only what you would expect from the most popular and busiest portals. If people don't find a property that has been listed for a month or more then that is obviously down to the searchers laziness or lack of interest in seriously searching and to be honest, those are the type of people in our experience that can be just time wasting for vendors.We didn't understand why Express uses a price range in their listing. The agent explained that it was a tool to ensure that the listing hits all the different pricing brackets that each portal uses, however, to most people it suggests that Express feels the property is only realistically worth somewhere in the region of the lower price and that the top price is what the vendor thinks it's worth! Interestingly, on Express's own site, it's the lower end price quoted that seems to determine which price bracket it sits in.We were perplexed at the fact that there were 164 properties either for sale or sold by Express in our area. We both have Rightmove and/or Zoopla search alerts for a reasonable radius of where we live and in the past 3 years we have hardly noticed any Express's listings. Having looked at Express's own website, this still seems to be the case (3 listings for the whole county).Last of all was what we really wanted to know and that was how much Express would buy our property for. We were told to expect a cash offer from Express at upto 30% below value.Last year our top valuation was £450000. We listed it for less and accepted a cash offer of £395000 for a quick sale. The buyer pulled out after 5 months so we relisted the property and reduced it to £375000. Despite the fact that year on year there has supposedly been a marginal average increase in property prices, Express's offer in the region of £260000 would be ridiculous, especially as another cash buying company had already offered £330000.

GoogleThey were great at first and sounded like they’d done their homework, as soon as I’d signed the contract, Amy, the contact I had disappeared off the face of the earth, there was no contact from them, unless I made it, the photo weren’t great, again after making out they brought an agency in specialising in photos and they would be fantastic. I had 1 viewing in 3 months, even though I had it at a price they said they could achieve for me. I am very disappointed and feel I’ve been duped.

GoogleKerry Devlin was extremely professional, always rang back when asked, kept us informed and although the sale price agreed was not what we were hoping to achieve she was able to get one which we could agree on. We just hope the conveyancing goes as efficiently. We terminated the sale due to lack of efficiency and not checking the purchaser out thoroughly.. complete waste of time.. put on sale again sold immediatelyPositiveProfessionalism

We began with a fantastic young lady called Mia who answered a phone call or email extremely quickly and efficiently. Once our purchase had begun we then got moved to a different team, who were absolutely rubbish! Robert was our point of call, he never answered a phone call or replied to an email!! I was so disappointed I nearly pulled out of the purchase, luckily our solicitors were fantastic and did a lot of the work for him!

TrustpilotProfessional staff but the organisation could be more efficient in terms of their systems and approaches to potential clients
Chantelle was professional, courteous and had excellent communication skills. However, I was confused by the need for a video call and I had logically assumed that the main purpose was for your staff to view my property, but Chantelle explained that the reason for the video call was for the staff to have face to face contact with the client and to all the staff to show things on their screen, such as Rightmove. It took 10 minutes to get the call started due to complications with the sound. The instructions for using the link with a mobile phone were not clear and I joined several times but could not hear Chantelle, although she could hear me. My mic was on. I am familiar with video calls on other platforms and can use them without problem. Not so, with Express's choice of video call. It became apparent to me early on that the call was more about a sales pitch. We all lead busy lives and I had wasted enough of my time that day already and a 10 minute phone call would have been enough to let me know what the Express valuation would be and what their fees are. I spent half an hour discussing things of little consequence to me. I like to 'cut to the chase' in these matters and I have no time for sales pitches. Express should not assume that every potential client they approach is ignorant about the housing market and how the general public might perceive Rightmove. Chantelle was just doing her job, as directed by Express, and through no fault of her own, wasted my time with a video call. As it stands, I need to have another appointment - this time a phone call - to get the two bits of information I require.

GoogleI found Scott to be very pleasant and polite. He listened to my situation and then explained what they offer. Out of the 2 options it was obvious to both of us which one suited my needs. Plans were made for the next step based around a time frame that suits me. I look forward to dealing with Scott again. He was knowledgeable and clear with the information he provided.

We are extremely pleased with the service received from Express Estate Agency. They have achieved everything they said they would and more importantly within the time allocated. 4 weeks on the market and sold for the price we wanted.Our point of Contact at Express Mr Carmine Soldano has been a great help he is polite, friendly, efficient and always available. I would recommend both to anyone having difficulty selling their home through a local estate agent as we were prior to appointing Express Estate Agency.

One of the worst experiences of my life first spoke to Chantelle she was very professional talked a lot about communication was key. When the house went on the market had a phone call off a gentleman call Joshua then it all fell apart I could tell he didn’t like me and the feeling was mutual he asked what price I wanted for my house I told him everyone that came to the house thought I would sell for less and then started the made up viewers who never turned up. Very disappointed with the service

Viewing was booked online. Viewing timing was reminded on the day and before. After viewing, l submitted an offer online. The next day l received a call from Richard Brogen who negotiated the house price for us and we got our offer accepted on the same day. Then we provided lD identification proof and financial funding the next day. So, the purchase experience is smooth and quick at the moment.
