TrustpilotRubbish communication
We called them twice asking to view a property on Rightmove and were ignored. I then emailed them twice and someone did call me back to say they would contact the vendor and let us know. That was nearly 3 weeks ago. Needless to say, we never got to see the property. No surprise this house has been on the market for nearly 4 months if people cant even get in to view it.

Both Lola and Anderson were fast to respond and were very helpful. We have had some bad experiences recently and we are now reassured that nice Estate Agents do exist.

TrustpilotAwful 'estate agents'
Awful estate agents to deal with. They never get back to you. You can't get through to them on the phone. Never do what you ask of them. Completely useless! Use a local estate agents not these guys! I've dealt with Richard who is just pointless, he couldn't care less, sounds half a sleep most of the time and the never rings back. Bet they like the pay check at the end tho!

TrustpilotBEWARE OF EXPRESS ESTATE AGENCY
Right from day 1 of dealing with one of the staff, I felt something wasn't right! I felt very rushed and forced to do things! Before my offer for a property was accepted, he said I would have to use one of their recommended solicitors (claiming that they are very fast in completing purchases), and I said okay no problem. Next thing was he sending me a solicitor’s quote and I was being rushed to pay a solicitor’s deposit of (£118.80). But I questioned it because i felt i should be dealing directly with the solicitor, but he claimed that was their procedure and that as soon as I pay the fee, he will then instruct the solicitor. IT FELT VERY WIERD AS I THOUGHT THIS MUST BE A SCAM! So I rang the office to check if there's any staff member by that name, and they said yes. So I went on to pay the £118.80I also queried why the solicitor’s quote he has sent, was missing some information like stamp duty etc.Fast forward to couple of weeks later, the solicitor has sent a complete quote and after completing their forms and identity verification, they are now asking me to pay their deposit- which was shocking to me! So, I asked them what about the deposit I paid to Express Estate Agency, and they said they know nothing about that! I WAS STUNNED. So, I copied him and his colleague (who is supposed to have taken over from him) into the solicitor’s email. AND SURPRISINGLY HE SUDDENLY CHANGED THE NARRATIVE OF THE £118.80 to Estate Agency fees deposit! I was shocked! Because that is a BIG LIE, besides, buyers never pay estate agent fees!So I forwarded the email requesting me to pay the solicitors fees to the solicitor and his colleague, stating that I no longer feel comfortable to continue with the transaction. The solicitor then said they will close my file. He now sent another email this afternoon directly to me (taking out the solicitor and his colleague), and the email reads: "That is to instruct the solicitors who is working for you, what has changed I don’t understand. You pay a deposit at the start like I said and it is refunded when the property has completed, nothing has changed that I am aware of."I AM ABSOLUTELY GUTTED. I have replied that email asking his colleague to advise on their complaint procedure, but I didn't get any response. I will follow up tomorrow and finally report it to the Finance Ombudsman!

GoogleAbsolutely awful
Absolutely awful place wish I could give zero stars.
Robert Peake is by far the worst "completer" he done absolutely nothing from start to finish didn't answer a single call for months lazy replied to emails they do absolutely nothing aside from take your money.
The manager Paul Young is even worse, emailed in July to make a complaint and still waiting.
Avoid these scam artists at all costs. They promise you the world and give nothing back
Pathetic service, official complaint lodged with the ombudsman

TrustpilotVery much NOT impressed!
I'm honestly scratching my head as to how this shower manage to get so many 5 star reviews; our experience was truly awful. Whilst the initial impression from the first conversation with the sales exec was good...she seemed very professional and well informed, and more importantly seemed to think that we would have no problem selling our property quickly (which was the deciding factor to sign up in the first place)....once our file was passed to the admin team in Manchester, it all fell apart very quickly! Starting with the potential viewer having problems booking a viewing via the website (lack of personal touch very evident), it then moved on to serious miscommunicaton regarding the pricing we had agreed (at one point having our house advertised £25k lower than we agreed - it took a week to get this corrected). The admin staff took ages to respond to phone calls and emails, and when they did, the level of arrogance was off the scale...they are clearly just that...administrators...not seasoned or experienced estate agents who understand the particular nature and nuances of the market on the Isle of Anglesey. In the end , we had just 2 viewings, one of which they could give us zero feedback, as they claimed they could not get hold of the person by phone, text or email?? With 8 weeks still to go, we asked for the contract to be cancelled, citing all the reasons above, and pretty much as expected, they insisted that we had to see out the rest of the contract period, which has just expired today. My personal view is that they are probably ok selling a house in a sellers market, with little involvement in the sales process, but for a place such as Anglesey which is much more complex and currently a buyers market, you need to have a local, experienced professional agent who understands the nuances and difficulties and can give you that "personal service". DEFINITELY ONE TO AVOID!

TrustpilotLauren was great
Lauren was great, kept me informed throughout the entire process and often called even when there was no news, just to let me know it was still being worked on. Because of the nature of my work I can sometimes be a nightmare to get a hold of but that didn't stop Lauren and when she couldn't get in touch with me (which was regularly) she always left a message with all the information on and a number to call her back on if I had any questions. I think I had to contact her two or three times, each time she answered the calls, she was always available and the entire process was made easy by her work.

TrustpilotTotal incompetence
When we first responded to the company advert, we were given to understand that they bought houses, this was not the case. However, we put our house on the market with them. At no time did they mention viewings are done only by the owner. In the time we were with them, we had several viewings. When the agreement expired, I rang to request the property was removed from the website. I was assured it would be within 24 hours. The day after, we had a viewing request, despite the fact I told them we had since sold it privately. There is clearly no communication at all.

Felt like the conversation was rushed quite a few pauses. Not feeling that Scott was reassuring enough for me to make a big decision with this company regarding my house sale. Paying this company £4000 when house is sold but I would be selling my house by showing people around. Paying this company £4000 to do what. Not satisfied so won't be using this company to sell my property. Scot was ringing today for my decision haven't heard from him as of yet.

GoogleI decided to take my home off the market because Anderson the Agent didn’t think I could achieve my asking price so there was no point in selling it. A month after I had informed Anderson Bailey he phoned me to see how I was getting on!
Don’t be fooled by his concern. I mentioned I would be selling it in the future and he immediately told me that I would have to pay there full charges as I’m under contract for 4 Months! He then sent me a threatening email.
There is no sale agreed, but beware Public of this Anderson and be his tactics and how quick he was to threaten me!

Today I had a telephone video call with Rhianna Clarkson in respect of the valuation of my property.
The video was very easy to set up, following the links on the text.
It is good to see who you are talking to, a great idea.
Rhianna was really good to talk to, had done her homework in respect of the current local market conditions.
She was informative and friendly and in a non pushy way explained the benefits and ethos of the company.
Impressive, thanks

GoogleNot even worth 1 star, went to view a property and put an offer in on the house. Didn’t hear back from them so when we continued to try and contact them. Dan kept telling us he would be in contact, he was not. Constantly going to voicemail and when we spoke to anyone else in the office they too wouldn’t get back to us. This was weeks ago, still haven’t heard from them, so we’ve given up and are looking elsewhere with different a company. Terribly unprofessional and any estate agents we’ve spoken to have laughed about this company. Definitely do not use them.
