Myself and my partner have been struggling with finding our first flat together for the last month or so, and then we got in contact with Dan. Dan showed us a flat that ticked every box we were looking for and worked quickly to get us a viewing the same day. At the viewing he was really knowledgeable about the property and really bubbly and friendly, making us feel even happier than we already were about getting the flat. Dans communication has been amazing and we can’t thank him enough for his help 😊

I had an incredible experience with this agency! I highly recommend them, as I managed to rent a spacious flat in a prime location at a great price:) The team is amazing - they're all very friendly, supportive, and professional. In particular, I want to give a shout-out to Dan, who was simply exceptional. He was always there to answer my questions, offer advice, and provide assistance whenever I needed it. He went above and beyond his duties to ensure that I had a smooth and stress-free experience, even after I was transferred to his colleague. Bridgfords has been the best letting agency by far to deal with. I just recently moved to Manchester from Canada and had many questions regarding the letting process to secure my own flat, and Dan/Izzy at Bridgfords have been a huge help in answering all questions and guiding me through the process. Excellent Customer Service

I visited a number of estate agents in Halifax Centre last week and Bridgfords were the best by far. On entry I was welcomed by Courtney who went above and beyond to help me with my enquiry. She took my details and added me to the mailing list for updates and has been actively sending properties that may be of interest to me ever since. Her colleague Alix was also really helpful. You can feel that the culture here is all about the people & customer. The estate agent I went to prior (not mentioning any names but very, very close to Bridgfords) had me sitting around for 10 minutes whilst on a call then reluctantly gave me a print out of a property that already had 25 people booked to view the next day (a pointless exercise, just fob me off why don't you) He didn't even take my details and I felt as though he couldn't wait to go for his lunch. Now that's what bad customer service. But Bridgfords do not deserve bad press. May I urge you to please take no notice of the bad reviews below because the team here are warm, welcoming & lovely and good at what they do so keep you heads high, because you deserve a big well done! :)

Had to call numerous times over two days before someone answered, waited a week for the viewing to be called two two hours before for confirmation I was attending, then one hour before they call again and cancel because someones car broke down. Absolute pants.

After being shown a property for rent I…After being shown a property for rent I informed the agent from Bridgfords in Sale that I’d like to put an offer in. The agency said she’d call later that day to talk me through the checks required ect and how to proceed. No call me no response from texts from the agent. When I called the office I was informed an offer was put in the day after I’d viewed the place and it was now off the market!! How was I not able to put an offer in. Had my time wasted be lied too. Had to take time out of work during a busy period to be ignored. Stay well clear of Bridgfords in sale. I won’t mention the agents name publicly as much as I’d like too

Really grateful to Dan Mooney’s for his help and patience during the letting process. It means a lot in the current crazy lettings market! The process is mainstreamed and online which is great and their willingness to use current tools like WhatsApp and videos helps a lot when you are very busy trying to book and attend so many viewings.

Bridgfords Halifax were excellent

Sarah Broadbent was our contact person and she was excellent from the start. We viewed the property online but Sarah ensured that we had a good look at the property although it was virtually, she explained/answered many of our queries as this area was new for us. Communication was great and Sarah ensured we had all the information before we moved to the property and she was present to hand us the key at the property. She made us feel welcomed to the area and the property and this will remain with us forever. We are very happy with the property, there was a little problem with the bathroom door, it was fixed within days. No other issues have been reported, but I believe they will take good care of it if any issue arises. I will strongly recommend Bridgfords and thanks to Sarah.

As a landlord, I expect a certain level of service and professionalism, none of which were demonstrated by Bridgfords Newcastle branch. I would strongly advise against using their services and will be seeking alternatives for my property management needs in the future.

WHY CANT WE AWARD A ZERO STAR?!

Unfortunately, there is no option for "no stars" or they would get it. Bridgfords Letting Agents, Whitworth St, they let me an apartment, allowed me to move in, wires sticking out of the fuse box, broken smoke alarm, no running water, they say its not their job to check the flat had services in situ. They refuse to say they have done anything wrong, and tell me, its legal what they have done. In their advert, they failed to tell me that the apartment is in a block,with specialist fire measures! Then my balcony door broke, I'm on the 13th floor and they left it stuck open for 6 weeks with driven wind and snow at one point! they sent a painter and decorator to try and fix it, who didn't have a clue, and broke it further with his plyers and a screwdriver. Then there was the bathroom, they sent a "plumber" out to fix a broken shower, who announced he had to "demolish" the bathroom to fix it. I had to stop him, and call the Landlord before he did any more damage. A proper Plumber was called and it was a faulty valve, which was replaced in 20 minutes.Just as we thought we had scraped the bottom of the barrel with their "talents" last night, they appear to have let themselves into my apartment (without my consent or knowledge) unmade my bed, moved my personal belongings and disposed of my bed. Now, I have to have the morning off work AGAIN to go and see what's gone on. In my opinion, they are an absolute disgrace and shouldn't be trusted with anyone's property.
