Bentley Hurst supported me through the purchase of my first home, and whilst my conveyancer was my main point of contact, Rebecca and James helped me massively, particularly in aiding communication between myself and the seller. Having not purchased a house before, I did find the process confusing at points in knowing who to contact for each bit and when I should expect certain updates by, but Rebecca was super helpful throughout and definitely saved my sanity when I wasn’t getting responses from my conveyancer! Overall from a buyer’s perspective I was very happy with the support I received from Bentley Hurst, including timely updates, support booking viewings, and general moral support when the sale was dragging a bit due to enquiries further up the chain. Would recommend if you’re looking for someone to give a great experience to your future buyer!

Overall I was content with the service provided by Bentley Hurst in the sale of my property - largely helped by Rebecca & James in the sales negotiation support after an offer was made and Poppy for being an efficient and pleasant estate agent. That being said there are some areas of room for improvement: - I was passed to a different estate agent for the space of a week or two and then handed back to my original estate agent with no clear reason as to why - Bookings were made to view the property without checking my availability first, which led to some frustrations - I was not introduced directly to the sales negotiating team upon an offer being accepted and therefore when we encountered issues in communication in the sale process I had no idea who to contact and there were no proactive updates. A small change such as this to the processes would help the experience from a seller point of view

since the start of beginning of the purchase process Bentley Hurst- Estate agents have shown nothing but perfect professionalism and incredible customer support, their staff is as kind and helpful as can be and they make sure that they keep you updated on new news regarding what you may be interested in. Bently Hurst are a very good local agents for in the Manchester and surrounding areas. As a landlord they take care of three apartments for me, they do this with minimum disruption to me and take care of all matters. When any issues arise they take care of it and my appartments have never been unoccupied, and achieving top rental yields in the process. Overall nice there agent's especially Tegan, Lyndsey and James are down to earth really approachable people! Highly recommend them if you looking for a respectful firm to take care of your property needs.

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Bentley Hurst today. I had a scheduled viewing at 3:00 PM, confirmed and prepared as any prospective tenant would be. However, no one from the agency showed up. After waiting for 10 minutes, I called the office and was told the agent was running 5, 15 minutes late. That was understandable , delays happen. What wasn’t understandable was what followed: I waited for 45 minutes in total, during which I repeatedly called and sent follow-up emails. Not a single call was answered. Not a single email was acknowledged. I stood outside the property the entire time, unsure whether anyone would ever show , and no one ever did. This level of disregard for someone’s time is unacceptable, especially from a professional letting agency. Communication was nonexistent. If you're from Bentley Hurst reading this, don’t bother making things right after today. If you’re someone who’s seeking a property, stay far, far away from these people especially far away from Natasha Mulenga.

Just completed on the sale of our house with Bentley Hurst after a disappointing experience with a different local agent. They were refreshingly proactive and responsive compared to other agencies I've dealt with, and found us multiple asking price offers within days of the property being listed, even in the current market which has cooled significantly in recent months. Joseph was amazingly accommodating early on in the process - he came to take photos and setup the listing within a day of asking as we were in a tricky position and wanted to sell as quickly as possible. He was professional, polite and helpful throughout. There were a few hiccups and miscommunications along the way but Tegan, Rebecca and James always did what they could to keep things moving and ultimately got the job done.

James Favas was my listing manager and honestly he is the best agent I have ever encountered so far!! He took some really professional marketing photos and even made a “virtual tour” matterport for my apartment. My apartment was rented out in less than a month with a good rental price. I am also amazed by his quick response (usually less than 1 hour, and he was available early morning hours too). Their agent fee is also reasonable. Great service, James kept the proposal explaination simple and to the point no jargon and stories, nor contact centers. Very responsive, Professional pictures taken quickly, the house was listed quickly. Tegan was very informative during the vetting process and made sure we were informed when action was needed. Even after letting they have not disappeared and are there keeping us informed and the tenant happy, too. Would recommend 100%.
