Still in the process of buying through Bentley Hurst, but impressed enough to leave a review. Poppy has been brilliant, she took me out for a full day viewing five properties, came prepared with research on each one, and was able to answer pretty much everything on the spot. Anything she couldn't answer straight away she went away and found out, which I really appreciated as I had a lot of questions. What's also stood out is the quality of their recommendations. I was clear about what I was looking for and they actually listened, no time-wasting with properties that didn't fit the brief. That alone puts them ahead of a lot of agents I've dealt with. Poppy has also been great with follow-ups, helping arrange second viewings and keeping things moving. Really positive experience so far.

The team at Bentley and Hurst were great! There were a few teething issues getting the flat online and under the right search, but this was resolved quickly. They had my flat sold in just 5 weeks, and if it wasn’t for Rebecca Faves managing the sales process and the solicitors, it would have taken WAYYYY longer than it already did. Rebecca’s communication was diligent, consistent and transparent. Her efforts and energy supported us in getting an exchange date and completion as soon as possible. She went above and beyond. We did a lot of research in choosing the right agent for our apartment, as we are not local and do not know the area. We definitely made the right decision in choosing James and his team at Bentley Hurst. The apartment needed a complete makeover and a lot of TLC. James took on the challenge and dealt with everything from start to finish. There were a few contractor issues along the way but James was on it and resolved all problems. James exceeded our expectations and offered constructive advise throughout. The new tenant has now moved in and we know that using their fully managed rental package we are in safe hands. We can not thank James and his team enough, they certainly took a lot of stress out of our busy life.

Bentley Hurst have been renting my apartment after the sale fell through, some 15 months now and I must say the service provided by Lyndsey Peate and James Favas has been exceptional. Lyndsey looks after all the communication and interface with the tenants and organises anything that needs attention and lets Janet and I enjoy the peace. Thank you Bentley Hurst, Lyndsey and James Absolutely super attitude, attentiveness and professionalism. Bentley Hurst now manage 3 properties for us. We suffered terrible service with a previous large Manchester agent but working with James and the whole team at BH has been a very different experience. BH are responsive to queries and keep us up to date with progress on any repairs and tenant issues. We suspect that we are more hands on than many in our position and the personal service we get from James and his colleagues is supported with an online portal which we can log into directly as well to view updates, sign documents etc. We feel valued as clients thanks to James and his colleagues.

I had a complex sale to arrange for an apartment in Manchester. 1) Selecting whom to work with: took the time to meet several local estate agents. All were good but Bentley Hurst stood out and seemed to go above and beyond in their preparation for our first meeting and listening first to understand the needs; so selected to manage the sale. 2) Finding a suitable buyer: I was a little sceptical about the time which would be required to find a buyer, but complete Kudos; within 2 weeks, Bentley Hurst presented a credible buyer with offer. I was hugely pleased. 3) Managing the sales process: this was the most complex due to chain and local searches in Manchester, a process which went as fast as it could but still took 4 months, however, Rebecca from Bentley Hurst was superb in guiding and facilitating all the parties to keep moving and expedite matters as soon as possible. Overall a brilliant service and I would highly recommend to work with Bentley Hurst next time you need to consider which selling agent you need in Manchester ! Thank you Bentley Hurst and Rebecca & James.
