Welcome to an independently-run, independently-minded estate and lettings agency. Ascend was founded on the belief that estate agents could do a lot better. We’d been working in the industry for a long time and were frustrated that most agencies were just so ordinary. Like their houses, these places were in need of a new lick of paint. Bit of rising damp in the basement too. So we decided to build our own home. This new home wasn’t made of sticks or straw. It was founded on a deep-rooted, decade-long knowledge of Manchester, from the very bricks and mortar of the city centre to its outer reaches. By a team of savvy individuals who loved the city and loved helping people invest, move and live in it. A team of quick thinkers and good listeners who did that rare thing: treat customers like people instead of transactions. Because they knew great service wasn’t just about experience and expertise. We had one philosophy: to keep the promises we made. Then we opened the doors. Welcome to Ascend. We’re built on higher standards.

GoogleDifficult company to get in touch with hardly answer their phones. They owe a refund for a holding fee which was rejected by the landlord. Email received that refund would be made within 7 working days that was 3 weeks ago.whan acan get an answer they fob you off. Still waiting for refund. Would not recommend dealing with this company.

GoogleAaron at Ascend properties was both very professional and welcoming in helping my partner and I secure our first rental property. Aaron was able to answer any questions we had and was very clear about any fees which had to be paid. GoogleI sold my property with Ascend Manchester and have nothing but compliments to Ethka that was the agent dealing with the sell. She was respectful of my schedule and would always let me know when visits were arranged in advance. The documents were also dealed with very well and they also helped chasing the buyer to help complete the process

At first, everything was a bit delayed since I was contacting them from South Korea, however Robert was trying his best to find a suitable property for us and we finally secured one that we like! :] Very kind and trustworthy person. Also Suzanne was handling everything very fast and carefully afterwards! Very satisfied.

GoogleAs tenants for 2 months with Ascend I may say it is one of the worse properties management companies I came across. We send them multiple emails regarding issues around the house we live in and we still wait for solution without any updates... Be mindful when you rent with them : )

GoogleI've been looking for a new flat for the past couple of months and I've received very good customer service so far from Ascend Properties compared to other estate agents. They are always helpful and efficient on the telephone and send you email confirmations for viewings straight away. Ashley is polite, friendly, honest, helpful, professional and prompt during viewings.

Throughout the process Ryan Mullender has been brilliant, he responded promptly to my enquiries and problems and contacted me with updates on the purchase without being prompted. I will definitely be recommending Ascend to others and in particular Ryan -great communication and support through what could be a stressful process.

GooglePeople at Ascend are nice - especially Claudia. I'm difficult tenant as I do suffer from OCD but she was very helpful and kind. Some of their staff can be difficult to talk to but overall not bad experience.( I already moved in so I did not get paid to write this review).

GoogleRob was really helpful and friendly. He showed us every part of the cute apartment. We were the last viewers for the day but he was us feel unhurried as he took us through the apartment. He explained in detail all the information pertaining that we asked for and needed to know. Excellent customer service, can't be faulted

GoogleCalled to ask to arrange a viewing on a property for rent, they answered. I've said line was disturbed and if she could please repeat...she hang out. I have tried to call 4 times no answer. Friday 4:14pm maybe its tine for going off ?

There were some technical issues in contacting them for a while, but once resolved I found them to be communicative, approachable and importantly - they treat me like a human being. Excellent service and I would use them again. And this is from someone who generally despises letting agents....

GoogleBreach of contract (lied when they said 10 days to withdraw, now delay and non response regarding a refund after we hastily withdrew before the allocated legal time frame), misleading information and false advertisement. be wary and reluctant to give them your money - they might not give it back. contacted trading standards to report the issue and they mentioned that there is a record against this agency already.
We are sorry that you feel you were given misleading information on this occasion. However, the property listing you submitted your enquiry through is a third party website which does not contain information supplied by Ascend Properties. We believe you have since spoken with a member of our management team, Adam, who clarified the confusion and also refunded your application fees in full. GoogleWe worked with Amanda Field through Ascend to complete our referencing and tenancy agreement. She was extremely helpful on the phone when we had any questions. Although the phone lines are often very busy when trying to get through to Ascend offices, when we did they were very professional!
