GoogleRecently went there to view a property, at the time they were very helpful. After my credit report they were rather abrupt and rude. I wanted to know if I got the property and the lady on the other side of the phone wasnt the best! I advise anybody... Have a good phone signal because they were unable to contact me over the Christmas period they got very funny with me and then withdrew my application.

GoogleRight from the very first contact with Helen on the phone , the service I received was absolutely superb. Dawn did both the initial and second viewing and she is so friendly and helpful. From then on it was plain sailing. Nothing was too much trouble. Emails and calls were answered promptly and super efficiently. They have made the whole process as smooth as possible and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Denny and Salmond prove that not all Estate Agents are the same. They are outstanding.

GoogleDenny & Salmond give all estate agents a bad name. The unashamed lack of professionalism, that seems an everyday way of life for Denny & Salmond, is astounding. We trusted them to sell our house for 4 months. We wanted to test the market value and Denny & Salmond suggested a valuation to start at. From that point there was no actual strategy, like, let's try that for 4 weeks and then review. They promoted themselves as "proactive", but we had to chase them for everything, and most times just got an answerphone. Maybe potential buyers were getting that same answerphone too! They could not even provide any feedback on the few viewings they did arrange. When we suggested to them maybe looking at Featured or Premium listings on Rightmove, they apparently did not know what these were as they never got back to us regarding whether these were worth pursuing to increase the visibility on Rightmove. Their primary selling technique appeared to be: 1) Put it on Rightmove 2) Wait for phone call from Rightmove listing 3) Pickup messages from answerphone for these calls. Their final ignominious act was when we had given 14 days notice to move to another agent, the director personally assured us that they would keep selling the property right up to the end of that period. But, as some sort of personal slight that the director at Denny & Salmond seems to have felt, the For Sale board was removed immediately and the Rightmove listing was removed early. So they lied to us, even when we asked them put them board back up, they lied again! Too small an agency for serious consideration in my opinion and experience. In a sellers market they might just tick along, in more difficult market conditions, like 2023, when sellers need the expertise of an experienced estate agent, they are sadly lacking. Sometimes we all learn the hard way.

We decided to use an independent estate agent for our house sale as we wanted an estate agent that was focused on the whole of the sale and onward purchase and who knew the area inside out, we were not disappointed. Helen and Dawn showed a commitment second to none during the sale of our house and with supporting us with our onward purchase with another agent. Helen even helped to sort a slightly tense situation out whilst she was on annual leave, a service I doubt you would receive with a corporate agent! GoogleI have experienced good letting agents and also very disappointing ones - I can wholeheartedly say D&S are great! Just what you want when you’re paying for this service - efficient, responsive and on your side! They were recommended to me by another satisfied landlord and 6 years in, I can happily say they are more than deserving of 5 stars.
