Horrible experience renting with them

Horrible experience renting with them. I visited the apartment that had faulty balcony door, which they said would be fixed before I move in. It was not fixed, the house was extremely dirty with food residue in the fridge, many light bulbs not working (they fixed it after a week). Right now, more than 2 weeks after moving in, the balcony door is still not fixed. I’ll never rent with them again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dealing with Michael and Joan on the recent purchase of a family home, from the very beginning of the journey we knew we had made the correct decision in dealing with this agency. The first visit we had with Michael we knew that we were in safe hands he guided us from the first viewing to sale agreed to sold. He was always there to help advise and reassure, while back at the office Joan is effervescent in her approach to costumer service and is all ways there help and aid in this journey. It what can be a stressful and often frustrating time in purchasing your forever home we simply can not recommended sherry Fitzgerald mallow (Michael and Joan) enough.

I have had absolutely the best experience with Sherry Fitzgerald O’Donovan. When buying my house I dealt with Michael who was absolutely fantastic and messaged me nearly every day to give me updates in regards to the house. His help and effort was second to none. I am currently renting my property, I went back to them for help and I can’t explain how much help they have giving me in renting my property. Joan looks after everything in regards to the house for me and without her I would be completely lost! I have never experienced this quality of care from a team ever! Joan is one of the nicest and kindest people you would ever be lucky enough to meet! I can’t recommend them enough

Excellent service from the day we first met Michael - Pauline my wife, would say ‘a trues gentleman’. No pressure, always calm and so helpful. Joan, Michael’s Receptionist is really the one that keeps Michael in check according to my wife!! Nothing was too much trouble for Joan. Not being familiar with the Irish System of selling a house, Pauline would ring and she would say “Joan said ..........” or “ I’ll get Michael to ring you” What a team !! Must not forget Jane - the quiet one in the office, always there to offer advice and support but just like the other staff! Thank you all for getting us through a lot of hurdles but you got us to the finishing post!!

I found that Michael O’Donovan and Joan Kelleher are a great team and provide a positive experience throughout the buying process. Michael is friendly and happy to provide information to ensure that the buyer is fully understanding of how the buying process works. Joan Kelleher has a wonderful way of dealing with clients. The professionalism of this agency is 0/10. Me and my girlfriend were trying to found an house to rent by ourselves, but alone in this house crisis is difficult to reach someone before others, so we decided to contact S.F. Agency: The first appointments went great, with a lot of positive feedback and illusions of care of the customer, but at the clue, when we were ready to sign for a cozy home that we liked a lot, the agent disappeared. No more emails and no more appointments. We asked for news and the response was: “the landlord has to think about his options. Would you like to visit again this other house? (that we didn’t like and the agent perfectly knew, because we spoke about it)”. After answering that we would like to have another appointment to discuss the opportunities, the agent disappeared again, this time forever. I really hope that your chances of getting a house will be better than ours, but try to find it yourself instead of giving this agency the opportunity to illuse you.

This company is amazing especially Mark Lawlor. They sold my house quickly and efficiently. It was really easy to catch Mark on the phone for any queries. He did a great job in getting the best price for my house whilst having great integrity by giving transparent information both to me and to the buyers. He guided me and provided excellent advice from start to finish. I give Sherry Fitzgerald 5 stars and will definitely use them in the future. They are a little dearer than other companies but it's worth it for a seamless service. I got a valuation from another company for the same house and they valued it €105k lower than what Sherry Fitzgerald valued it at and obtained so Sherry Fitzgeralds valuations are more accurate.

We sold a house in Galway with Sherry Fitz. I really regret choosing them. We did had some bad luck. The agent had an illness mid way the sale and then another agent had to sell it who'd no interest as, our property was small. But also, their process is to only do viewings twice a week. If people couldn't make those viewings they wouldn't show them the house. It definitely didn't show the house to all those who might have been interested. The second agent didn't follow up with several people who'd shown interest, despite me asking if she did. Over all, there far better agents in Galway who are flexible and will do more work to show your house. Before you sell, contact a few agents as if you are buying and see how easy the make it to view a house etc. Wish I'd done that.
