We chose Holden Estate Agents to sell my late father-in-law's property because we purchased a house through them in 2018 and respected how hard they worked for the seller. Darryl (and his fabulous team) haven't disappointed this time around either - we have been given excellent advice and support from valuation of the property to the completion date being given. We are incredibly grateful to Darryl et al for their expertise, knowledge, and their calm and positive attitudes through what has been quite challenging at times. We highly recommend Holden Estate Agents, and whilst we hope to remain in our home, we would definitely use them if we were considering selling/buying again.

I haven’t used an Estate Agent for 20yrs and a lot has changed since my last purchase but Holden’s and in particular Amy impressed me with her knowledge of the area and also her great communication and support for me as a purchaser. She liaised with everyone to move the sale along when it hit some bumps and Amy and the team at Holdens really made me realise how valuable a good Estate Agent is when going through this quite stressful process. Before listing with Holdens, it was suggested that I buy the photos from my current agent, as they were good photos. I duly paid £200 for them only to be told by a different member of the team that I would be better off having new photos! I was then told to remove my property from the market over Christmas and relaunch it in January only for this suggestion to be contradicted by another member of the team. The house was listed from October to mid January with only one call from the agent in the whole almost 3 months. In the end my house was sold for the asking price by the original agent after zero leads from Holdens. They talk the talk but clearly the team members don’t share the same ideas - I could not recommend.

Holden's have been fantastic from start to finish with helping us buy our first home. The process is always daunting but they were helpful from house viewings through to completion. When we started looking at houses we went to multiple estate agents, but Holden's process of helping us look at houses was far better than the others. Once we had started the process of putting in an offer and all the steps that follow, no question was dismissed or belittled, only friendly and helpful advice came our way. They were supportive through every step. We cannot thank them enough for their support in buying our first home and we would highly recommend them!

I would 100% recommend Holden to anyone! We are just coming to the end of buying and selling with them. It feels like we have had our own personal P.A. to guide us all the way through. We have mainly dealt with Amy and she has been fantastic, constantly contactable and always gets back to us. She has been the link between the solicitor, our buyer, the property we are purchasing and the mortgage broker, so we have felt very well looked after. There have been some hiccups further up the chain but Amy has always been the one that has chased and solved the problems. Holden have taken the stress out of moving as much as is possible and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Everyone in the team has been extremely polite and even if they haven’t been dealing with our sale directly they have always endeavoured to help in any way that they can. I cannot recommend Holden Estate Agents enough! My selling experience was hit with lots of problems with the chain collapsing which was extremely stressful, and immediately Holden were straight back on to arranging viewings and finding a new buyer for me! Excellent service, everyone we dealt with were so helpful- always went above and beyond for us. No question was too much. They remained professional at all times and kept us updated throughout the whole process. I actually received what I needed for the most important thing in my life from the team at Holden's. After 3 failed attempts with local agents who promised everything and didn't deliver the 'minimum' that was in their control - screening prospective buyers and covering the obvious querks with our property. From the first call to the office, to Darryl arriving at our home I felt finally we would have a business to suit our needs. He listened and advised, had done his homework before he got there and then the service continued with excellent back up from Amy. She was attentive and respectful of our journey to this point (nothing to do with her but a huge factor for us) and was so helpful 'managing' our emotions and questions realistic and not; with a professional manner you seldom find. Fast forward through brexit, elections, buyers pulling out at the last stage, 2nd sales and finally COVID-19 Holden's team closed the sale for us and allowed our lives to continue. A massive thanks to the office team with a special mention to Darryl for his stabiling advice and Amy for holding our hands through the process of selling our home.
