They were excellent in all aspects constantly on the phone to both ourselves with updates and the buyers who were in Hong Kong. Worked well with our and our buyers solicitors. Would like to mention Nicola and Michelle who were very patient and dealt with our numerous concerns, would also like to say that David Page who we had dealings with was very professional and nothing but a try gentleman. We used Page & Wells, Bearsted, for the sale and purchase of our houses in June 2020. We needed to sell quickly, as we had seen a property that we were very interested in. They were professional, very quick to respond, value and photograph our property, and ultimately find the correct viewers, without sending any time wasters, which helped us to sell our property within a few days, and made us be in the position to put in an offer on the property we wanted to purchase. We are aware that buying and selling can be very stressful, but all the Bearsted staff were so helpful and at the end of the phone to help throughout. We were in our new home within ten weeks and would highly recommend them and not hesitate to use them again, hopefully not for a long time, but would definitely use them again should the need arise, and would not use another agent. A special thank you to the staff at the Bearsted office, Ian, (who valued our property and showed us around our new home a couple of times) Adam (for coming out so quickly to photograph our property and line up potential viewers) and Lynne (who even stayed late at the office to put the wording and pictures together for our property details, to get it on Rightmove quickly) We thought it would be a miracle to get our new home, as lots of other people were interested in it, but you made that miracle happen, thank you!

As Landlord's,we have been customers of Page & Wells [P&W] for the past 7-years. Overall a superb team to work with in regards to rentals. Over the years we have had a natural turnover of customers [tenants] and each time P&W has found us excellent tenants. The Rental team are on their game and it's been great doing business with them, namely overall good communication, clear on the rental process, matching our requirements in seeking out our ideal customer. Extremely professional and when we have had a customer give notice, our contact at P&W stepped up to find us a new customer. We also noticed that having such a good relationship with the Rental team, our customers have been with us for a lot longer. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys - they are great. Thank you team for a great job.

We were with P&W for about 6 months (pre covid) and in that time we had very few viewings but also no advice on what we could to do improve this and no support or discussion on altering the price. A phone call from them was so rare there was more chance of The Queen giving me a bell on the mobile. We did get some offers in but they just fell through after a few months because P&W’s financial checks were so inadequate they failed to spot the small issue that the Buyers couldn’t afford it. When we signed up I was made to feel uptight about asking how we walk away after the initial term if we weren’t happy. David said over a handshake “If you want to leave you can, there’s nothing I can do”, but sure enough, when we wanted to leave the contract came out and we had to serve notice despite us feeling they were in breach when they failed to secure the property to our satisfaction after a viewing. We went with another estate agent and one of the Buyers came back. The new estate agent didn’t entertain them at all because within 5 minutes they failed the financial checks and they were shown the door. Whatever P&W are financially checking, its not enough. We then sold to a new buyer who was an absolute dream through an estate agent we trusted.

We bought our house with page & wells, they were very professional.A year later we decided to rent the house. They were very good again until they found us a tenant, I was expecting them to send me the contract to approve & sign it, I said to the lady responsible I want to see the contract in advance, she agreed over the phone ( although she denied later that I asked her to do so). She asked me if it was ok for her to hand over the keys to the new tenants, I said yes, but I was still waiting for the contract to sign.Two days after she handed the keys to the new tenants I asked her for the contract, and how did they move in before signing the contract, she said she signed the contract on my behalf, I told her but I asked you I want to see the contract first, she said you must asked someone else not me !!She emailed me the contract, it wasn’t right, the summary didn’t include both tenants names, the guarantor’s name was not there as well, and my name was not the same as in the passport.More than a week now, I’m waiting for them to correct the contract with no results.I even didn’t get the first rent not even a bill.I don’t recommend them for renting.

Page & Wells might perhaps have been a good agent in the old days, when houses were sold to someone you already knew, or who came into the shop to enquire. But they have absolutely no clue *whatever* about selling properties in the 21st century. Throughout the whole of my 16 week contract, my house never came up at all in a search for properties for sale in my area. It never even appeared on most sales websites. Their communications skills are *completely* absent. They never could be bothered to keep in touch - I had more calls from other estate agents, than I ever did from them. Avoid, do go elsewhere, is my strong advice. Just useless.

I would highly recommend Page & Wells as letting agents. They have effectively managed my property for the past 9 years & have recently commenced a new tenancy, after our previous tenant was resident for nearly 7 years. I have found the entire team to be highly professional & courteous in their approach & their service has been exceptional throughout the commencement of the new tenancy.
