I will never recommend this horrible place with its rude staff. I was mistreated with complete and utter disrespect. Very unprofessional from Ben Siggins himself and a horrible person named Tina Atherton who I had never met and had just started working for the estate agent, she spoke to me on the phone with such attitude thinking I was someone else taking the mick out of my name and suggesting the landlord evict me, when she realised who she was talking to she hung up on me after I asked for an apology. I had a recording of the phone call and Ben himself did not care. The whole 13 months was a joke. They let me go without hot water from a broken boiler for 2 months during winter whilst the snow from the beast from the east arrived. Their answer for that was ''these things happen'' and I had no apology ever from anyone even after I asked for one several times. Disgusting place full of rude people. UPDATE* AGAIN no apology from Ben himself nor the lady who spoke to me with attitude and making fun of my name. I withheld the last months rent AFTER leaving because I wanted my apology which I never got, I said to the landlord I would pay if I got an apology in writing from Tina which I never did, even after several emails to Tina and Ben asking for an apology. I withheld the rent because Ben Siggins was also in breach of contract for leaving me without hot water from a broken boiler in the middle of winter for almost 2 months. No apology for that either. The last months rent was paid for from the deposit so the landlord was NOT left out of pocket and I have proof of this - thanks for that absolute lie there.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

I can’t recommend Ben siggins enough! From the initial contact with Kevin, to contact with Mathew, James, Harriet and Jody, nothing was too much trouble. I truly my believe without the help of Jody and James our house wouldn’t have completed on a timely manner. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I had a unique situation where my tenancy was up in my flat in London and I needed to move to Kent for work. I am originally from northern Ireland so was home for the period of COVID19 and so was only in England for 4 days! David at Ben Siggins was able to help me view two properties and sign a tenancy agreement within 2 days! Very professional, worked miracles and now I have a lovely flat to move into before I start my new job! Everyone there was friendly, professional, welcoming and helpful, I couldn’t recommend enough!

We recently purchased a property through Ben Siggins. We were lucky enough to be looked after by James who was very efficient and helpful, and a very charming young man. He was very quick to pick up any queries we had and even went out of his way to do a video walk round for us during lockdown. From the outset, Ben Siggins delivered an excellent service. My initial enquiry was dealt with quickly and David responded efficiently to my request to view the property. Working within safety guidelines, I was able to visit the property and agree the tenancy. All the paperwork was dealt with in a professional manner. Within a week of my tenancy, David telephoned to ask if I had settled in and whether i had encountered any problems - thankfully there were none. I have rented a number of properties in the area but have never had such friendly and efficient service. Having had nightmare experiences with big chain estate agents, it was a refreshing surprise to meet David (Lettings Manager) from Ben Siggins, an independent Estate Agents, for a coach house viewing. My girlfriend and I got a very good vibe from him and loved the property. Upon contacting the office we spoke to other team members who were equally as friendly and helpful. At no time were we put under any pressure to take the property and as an Independent agent, we found that Ben Siggins has a much more personal approach and genuinely care about their tenants. Could not recommend highly enough. We are now living in the property and very happy with the management side of things too. So glad we came across one of their properties. I have been so impressed with the support that we have received from Ben Siggins over the past couple of months. From the initial valuation meeting with Matthew (which was not pushy) to the support of the office team, I cannot fault them. With their support we received an offer within days of going on the market and have progressed at a good pace since. In these unusual times it has been so important to know that all phone calls are answered quickly and messages replied to promptly - so much more impressive than the other large estate agents involved in our chain!! The Ben Siggins crew were all very helpful and friendly. We needed to go slow with the sale process as my mum had to have some unexpected major surgery just as the offer was about to be accepted on her house before she'd even found a house. Everyone was kept very aware that our timescale could be a little delayed to allow for my elderly mum to recover sufficiently and throughout the process Kevin and Sian stood by us and took any questions from the chain below without causing any stress to my Mum.
