Avoid like the plague. Viewed a property and put in an offer over the asking price and emailed my documents. After plenty of emails and phone calls was told it was sold. Never got the opportunity to put in a counter offer or ask what took place. A bunch of cowboys at the Bradford branch.

I was selling a lodge through this company and also looking for another to buy elsewhere. When looking at the one I was interested in purchasing they couldn't answer any of my questions and was told that they hadn't been given the information I needed. I'm sorry, but it is your job to know what ground rent is payable, how long the season, what age the lodge is is etc. How can you sell something if you don't have all the information? And more importantly, this information is vital, because if that property has only a couple of years left on that particular site you are going to lose a heck of a lot of money.And now onto my sale. I find the staff rude, extremely rude, to the point where I lost my temper and told the 'boss' I was no longer going to sell through them. Every time I asked a question, that woman jumped down my throat. They have no idea how to sell caravans or lodges, talking about solicitors and surveys and demanding the site owner meet on the day they want stating 'if he wants his £15k changeover he should make himself available'. You cannot treat people that way. I suggest they stick to bricks and mortar, but I have heard they are bad at that too! Go elsewhere, anywhere but there!!

I tried to sell a property through this company at auction and they had some very interesting views on the value. I said I would take my business elsewhere and the next day the local branch phoned me to try to get me to get the property put on the general sales market through their branch. I politely refused because their actions were very underhand. They have rung me weekly for a year since in one guise or another trying to get my business.

So saw the property on for sale 24 Woodbridge Green, LS6 3LS on Rightmove and loved it and booked a viewing and mortgage advice. They booked us for both appointment together. So the mortgage appointment first and then the property viewing. We were asked to come to leeds headingley branch. We got their on time and they was lovely showing us different mortgage lenders and etc. and I told my partner we will get mortgage from here if they accept our offer. However, after that everything went down hill. Our appointment got cancelled for house viewing while we having our first appointment regarding mortgage. They told us they can not show us the property due to sickness which is understandable. I called back to book an another appointment as we really liked the property. On the day of our second appointment I was waiting outside for someone to come and show me the property. After they were five minutes late I called the agency to check if someone will come and they told me to wait outside property. And then 10min after someone came. They came rushing. I was waiting for them to show me the property and they asked if I know which property it was and I was confused thinking they might be joking. But they did not even know which property they was showing us so I had to tell them. Than when I start to ask questioned about the property they said they don not know anything about the property. I asked if they at least brought a brochure with them and they said they do not have one. We loved the property and was thinking to put the offer down before we even saw the property. But when all this happen I did not trust anything they said and told my partner I can not trust them moving forward as we have not even moved to the harder stage and this is happening. So we backed off. Than received a call so discuss if we will put a offer down. And we told them everything happen and said we do not trust their services. Am guessing everyone will have their own experience and hope this does not happen to anyone else

Kettering branch , do not rent or sell to this company in Kettering, the lies once you sign up they just don’t want to no you , don’t contact you , all the say is the phone lines are down again ! There full of b, /s, , so lack of what’s going on , my problem with them I agreed to sell my house , with them , but once we had signed , nothing happened we had to go to the office time and time again , they said the best way to sell property , was to have a open house , after 3 weeks we got 1 family of 5 into a 3 bed house ????? They don’t care

Although they managed to let out all of our properties reasonably quickly, their property management was abysmal. They gave repair work to contractors who were expensive with very poor quality work. Sometimes they were the friends and family of the staff.We had to appoint a different property management company who now is far more reliable and trustworthy.

Under no circumstances sell your property with the norwich branch of wh browne. Progression and after sales service was abysmal to say the least !!!! Started my sale with Hellesdon/ sprowston office and received top class , professional, friendly service then transferred to norwich office . No contact , no updates , basically useless !!! Avoid at all costs

We've been recently looking to buy a house and stopped at WHB in Bungay/Suffolk one day, the lady there was the most disrespectful and talking with disgust, not interested into selling anything. After complaining to the manager she said a sorry with a eye rolled that made me belive she is either the manager mistres or in totally wrong job. We did bought a house but always avoided the agency just because of the experience. Not putting my money into something that treat me like that.

Barnsley branch absolutely useless avoid 😑 only interested in getting your custom. No correspondence at all, always had to fone them. Never foned back about anything, unless i was viewing one of there properties..put pictures on my property without me even seeing them...which I didn't like caused us so much stress...ended up taking my house off the market with them......complaining got me nowhere...couldn't even speak to anyone higher. There absolutely unbelievable. Please avoid

Yet again, very professional and knowledgeable. Great Team service at Norwich.

Shocking , they do not tell the truth then when we wanted to leave bullied us to threatening court action if we left , 5 people looked at our house 4 did not even have their houses on the market , would not release us from contract and then kept telling us to reduce the price after they valued it 40 odd thousand more , 4 months of hell and making the whole experience stressful and wasting our time !!!!! I have sold many houses and never had such an awful agents bar one staff member who was genuinely nice to us but still was not honest .

Think they’re above you, snobby, rude, arrogant. Never had worse dealings with a company in my life. Had numerous valuations, these came in most expensive. Girl from the office called me to see if I wanted to view a property, that I know has been on the market for months as it’s a friend of mine, she told me it had just gone up last week so another lie. Do not use this company, far better and more friendly local estate agents who are more personable than a big company who think you’re beneath them

Harlow branch managed to convince a buyer with a solicitor and mortgage to change to their preferred provider to gain commission but at the delay to my house sale. They didn’t return a single phone call in 5 months ! Took 7 months to complete a no chain sale ! And I had to conclude the sale myself and now they have issued court papers to an address they know I don’t live at and threatened me with a ccj ! I would not recommend them at all.

Thorne, Doncaster Branch:Fair weather estate agents. Cant do enough for you when you’re moving forward with them under their lifetime mortgage schemes. Unfortunately had to pull out a sale due to the interest rate hikes making the property unaffordable and suddenly they dont want to know. Failed to refund contractually owed amounts. Failed to communicate this dissatisfaction with the vendor leaving contractually owed refunds unpaid for 6 months and still ongoing. Legal Advice being sought to resolve a perfectly simple contract issue. Very poor.

I took into consideration that they are a legit company, duely registered, and ignored the reviews. If only I had taken the reviews seriously, I would have saved my time and the money I spend with travelling to see the property they showed. They really don't bother with communication. Hopeless. Not a signal of a follow up even though they took a copy of my ID and I signed an EOI. Now if I see they are the ones advertising I just pass.

This company is all sorts of wrong. Not only do they tell you phone calls recorded they later confirm they are not when you get to head office complaint stage. Clever sods lied to me clear as day on phone and never put any of what they told me in emails.. I'm now being accused by them of being the liar, which I now can't prove apart from half statements in email which are inconclusive at best.... I would avoid this company again, I do not recommend anyone use this useless, dishonest company. It is now looking like a small claims court case if the TPO can't get me the money they owe me. Not a huge amount £500 but when you paid them £2500 for services its a sizeable amount.
