My experience with loc8me was very positive. I applied for an apartment and paid the £200 deposit. Unfortunately due to my own fault, I could not secure a guarantor. Loc8me was fast to refund my deposit. I found that they was very helpful.

They're great when you're trying to find a property. They're ok when you need repairs. But they will charge you for all damages a property has when you left, even if the property was in a poor state when you moved in. Make sure you let them know about all the damages you find so you have evidence. They take videos but take your own too.

Would not rent with Loc8me again

Poorly run company. Who did not hold deposit in a 'Deposit Protection Scheme'. Difficult to get hold of to raise maintenance issues, the online portal just seems to generate tickets that do not get resolved. No Carbon Monoxide alarm. Only now just registering properties correctly as HMO's and fitting emergency lighting etc, but its all a little too late
