GoogleIn a changing world where on-line dealings are taking the role of traditional tasks I have to say that dealing with the staff at John German, East Leak made my purchase much easier, the same goes for my selling agent. Yes using an estate agent is more expensive than on-line suppliers, BUT, moving home is very stressful and a friendly voice to guide you through the process and handle your aspirations is worth paying for. If this agent treat their clients selling half as much as they treat me as a buyer don’t hesitate to use them, Ellie and Jeanett are simply brilliant.

GoogleFound a stunning home that we were really excited for, we called twice and emailed the same day it came up for rent, we got passed to the sales team as they had a lot of calls coming through to lettings. My details were taken and I was told someone from the rental team would then be in touch. Unfortunately I was then told 24 hours later that my details were never given over and they have already done the viewings and taken interest on the property so it was no longer available. Very disappointed.
Hi Savannah. I have now investigated this fully and just so you are aware, the property was launched on 22nd August 2024 (10 days before receiving your enquiry). We received a large amount of interest on the property and therefore the viewings were actually closed Tuesday 27th August 2024 - with them being carried out on Sunday 1st September 2024. My sincere apologies that this information wasn’t passed over to you on Saturday when you enquired about the property. Our system had been updated with this information. Massive thanks to Reiss and the team at Lichfield for all their help and also thanks to Claire who was on hand to help progress the sale through as fast as possible. After a truly awful experience with our previous estate agents, the difference in the level of service provided by John German compared to them, was like night and day. We could always get hold of someone if we had any questions and were kept updated on viewings and any subsequent feedback. GoogleAbsolutely amazing team. Suzi, Izabel, Laura and Tracey, all extremely professional and so lovely. I was given notice to leave my property and in less than a month I'm in my new home. Suzi knew exactly what I wanted as she'd found my previous house. The whole process, which could be stressful, was dealt with so efficiently and I felt as if the whole team had my best interests at heart. I would not recommend taking up a rental if it is managed by John German. Having once been a landlord I understand how difficult it is, and therefore, I ensured I was the perfect tenant. I kept the property spotless, the garden tidy and clean and ensured the property was returned in a fabulous condition. John German tried to blame carpet stains (left by the previous tenant which were actually on the inventory when I took tenancy) on me, they accused me of using different paint (when I actually used the builder's paint supplied) and would not allow me access to the house to fill in a tiny dent in the wall caused by ill-fitting curtain poles (put up by the landlord) and instead I had to pay £100 for this to be fixed. Be very careful with this agent, they will attempt to blame you for general wear and tear and even previous tentants' damage.
