Company is shocking they talk the talk. Also they can’t add up either. Also you have to fight for your jobs to be done. They are always trying to interfere with the contractors jobs sheets.

Anything would have been better than my old landlord. But after some hesitation, i must say i am pleased to rent from Placefirst/Revive. They have improved the area in which i live and the workers are all pleasant, polite and professional. My neighbours are also saying the same.

DO NOT USE PLACEFIRST TO RENT YOUR HOUSE!!!Awful company, don't care about the residents. To even a contact about the complains from the neighbours next door. Flimsy walls, cold houses without doors. Bad neighbourhood

To be clear: residents are not charged for general wear and tear, and repairs should be reported without hesitation. If there’s a genuine issue, it needs to be raised so it can be addressed so please do get in touch. All deposits with Placefirst are protected by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), a government-backed service that ensures deductions are fair and evidence-based. If there's ever a dispute, the TDS provides an independent resolution process and if it is unjust - it will not be charged to the tenant by TDS. On rent: we regularly benchmark prices against the local market, and our rents remain in line with comparable homes in the area. We understand that affordability is an issue everywhere right now, but these claims aren’t backed up by what else is available in the private landlord sector of the market. Treat absolutely appallingly. Promised a family friendly estate to live on with our two year old son. They moved a young couple in next door where he stands at all times of day/night at his back door smoking cannabis. Tried for 8 months for someone to do something and still no further forward. Had a summer where we couldn’t go in the garden because of the smell. We got our son a puppy for Xmas and we can’t even take him in the garden because of it. All we get is we will look in to it! Avoid Scholars View Hetton at all costs if you have children it is certainly not child friendly.

My partner and I have lived at scholars view for 2 years now. Dave the property manager was very responsive to questions. House suited us great and appliances were all high standard e.g dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Absolutely shocking company, avoid like the plaque. Holes in my walls which have been bonded brick ties have gone and side wall is bulging but there in no rush to fix it, boiler is thermostat controlled as they haven't bothered to put in a timer not good when your up at 4am for work. Garden floods in heavy rain (not near a river) 6 inch thick concrete in places but they sent someone to fork it. 24 hour maintenance team isn't actually 24 hours you log a problem on a Sunday and get rang back of a call centre to say a hole in external wall ain't an emergency.
