Having tried other estate agents in the area and having little to no interest, we had all but given up hope for selling our flat and moving. However, Dan Thomas were able to find us a buyer off-market - before the photos were even taken! Abi was incredibly helpful in the early stages, communicating effectively to keep us up to date on the viewing and negotiations. As we neared exchange and completion, we encountered a number of legal difficulties. Claire was excellent in chasing the chain, the solicitors and facilitating effective communication between all parties. Claire also kept us up to date, which was really reassuring during the most challenging times of the sale. It’s no exaggeration to say that without Claire’s work, we probably would have been waiting weeks or months more to move - if it even went through at all. Overall, the Dan Thomas team showed an extraordinary level of excellence and professionalism and I would be confident recommending them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

For various reasons

For various reasons, unrelated to Dan Thomas and co, I have had great difficulty selling my house. I had used a number of estate agents without success. Eventually I thought I would try out a “young” agency and contacted Dan. Getting a sale over the line proved difficult on more than one occasion and friends had started to suggest going for yet another agent. My view was that DT & Co had been excellent in keeping in touch with me throughout difficult times: they had retained their initial enthusiasm even when I was thinking that a sale for any sensible price was impossible.

Yesterday we completed on our forever home, buying and selling through Dan Thomas & Co. From start to finish we truly couldn’t have wished for a better team to guide and support us through every step and every hurdle (and there were a few!). We couldn’t have felt in safer hands throughout - communication with the whole team and their expertise was impeccable. Nothing was ever too much trouble; we knew we could call or send a WhatsApp and one of the team would reply to us as soon as they could. We genuinely loved our experience working with the team and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. We loved our first home so much and were in no rush to move; we were happy to wait for however long it took for the right house to come along, but when Dan got in touch to let us know about what is now our new home (!), we knew it was the one. I think it was fate my house was sent to me as I wasn't looking for the area and I thank Dan Thomas for sending me it. From the first viewing I knew it was my forever home. Lorraine was so warm and welcoming and she was on the ball all over the transaction from 6th March to 17th May to complete. Regular updates chasing both sides responding on her days off a great employee and an asset to the team. She recommended the Solicitors Burtons and wow Manni was exceptional. What can I say? - Wonderful!If you’re looking to sell or buy a property Dan Thomas & Co. is the place to go. When my 94 year old mum went into a care home we needed to sell her bungalow ASAP (care home fees aren’t cheap!) No problem for Dan and his team. Abi, Claire and Lorraine were on it without delay. Well, what can I say about Dan Thomas & Co, flawless, outstanding, friendly...the list can go on and on! From our very first interactions with Claire and Jo, we knew these estate agents were one of a kind. We initially brought our house with these agents, and decided to sell with them as well. Marisa was absolutely amazing she is so understanding and really went above and beyond to help me to find the absolute perfect property that I required. Genuinely best agent in Kent

I've worked in New Homes for 30 years and deal with a lot of agents, so when I moved I had a good sense that Dan Thomas was the right choice, but the excelled my expectations. Let's be honest moving isn't fun, but if you have excellent agents like Marisa and Abi dealing with your buyers you have the best chance of getting the most out of every viewer. We sadly lost our first buyer, but the team really mobilised using different photos, feature properties on Rightmove Move and revisiting every lead to get us another buyer. Big thank you to Dan for negotiation the offer and giving our buyers a sense of urgency so that we could secure our dream home. The other thing I'd like to highlight is that selling is one thing, how you get to exchange and completion is often over looked. Sharon knew just what to say with just the right amount of pressure. Her calm authority put the other estate agents in to line and definitely helped my sanity. We've been in our lovely home a few months now, and the good news is that all the hassle is worth it, but do yourself a favour and definitely go with Dan Thomas 👍
