We recently sold our flat with Doug and his team whilst simultaneously buying a house that was on their books. Of course, there were the inevitable bumps in the road but each time we came across a problem Doug gave clear advice and reassurance which helped immeasurably. The team are friendly, professional, contactable at all times, thorough and fast working. I've not had a single issue with them, in what could be seen as one of the most stressful times in life. I couldn't them recommend highly enough. They are calm yet extremely sympathetic during the tough bits. Thank you Doug, Adam and all at team Southfields.

I cannot recommend Winkworth estate agents highly enough. The guys at Winkworth are all straight talking, honest, friendly professionals. Pleasantly different to my other experiences with other estate agents (No BS !) Doug was outstanding. What was quite a complicated sale for various reasons. Doug helped to take the stress out of the whole process. Doug was always on hand, using his professional expertise, often to take the heat out of situations. Doug gave good advice and ultimately made it happen !

This was the second time Winkworth have sold for us and we couldn't praise them enough for the quality of the service. Our sale was very complex and drawn out and we wouldn't have been able to manage the stress and uncertainty with confidence without their calm, considered and professional advice and support throughout. Doug was always on hand to speak to and advise, as well as the manager, Darren when needed. Many many thanks to Darren, Doug and the team and we would advise anyone looking or selling in Southfields to make Winkworth their first choice.

As a landlord I would recommend you find an alternative agent. Winkworth were a disaster. They lost my keys and charged me for 2 cleans which were not carried out to even a reasonable standard. The tenant was unhappy from day 1 and once they have their fees they were not interested at all. I raised all these issues with no response. The tenant copied them in when she gave notice and they were immediately requesting to market the property again. No thanks. They have a very short terms approach and I would never use them again.

Thank you for your review, I am very sorry you felt our service was not up to standard. We take all our feedback very seriously and have looked in the case thoroughly. Our aim is to ensure all of our clients are satisfied with the service they receive and to help our clients as best as we are able to, through sharing our knowledge of the industry and recommendations. Whilst you had not opted to have us manage the property after the move in we kept the communication open and were on hand throughout dealing with the tenants concerns and your own. Regarding the clean, the previous tenants had arranged and paid for the professional clean when they left the property and, due to the property then being empty for one month between tenancies and also with electricians going into the property, we generally advise for you to have a ‘top up’ clean, to ensure the property is ready for the new tenancy. The issue the tenant raised was regarding the damp within the flat rather than the clean that had been done. We understand that the responsibility and management of letting a property can be challenging and stressful for a Landlord which is why we recommend opting for a managed package when considering and agent and level of service. We are very sorry that it was not as smooth as we would have liked and have taken your feedback on board. We wish you the best for your future.

I instructed Winkworth in March 2016. Both Darren and Doug are very professional and put in as much effort and good quality advice as possible. Being a chartered surveyor myself I was extremely impressed with Darren and Doug and felt completely comfortable all the way through to completion. They continued to cover every aspect of the transaction throughout to completion which is always important and this benefited all parties. Very professional, personable and competitive. First time using Winkworth to let my flat out but certainly won’t be the last ! Exceptional correspondence throughout, avoided void period due to finding Tenants within couple of days of going live. All inquiries were dealt with promptly and Ben was very reassuring and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend their services.

Doug & Molly are not your usual estate agents. Both of them have been totally trustworthy, reliable and supportive throughout the process. We both bought our flat from them and then went on to sell it through them also and if we were ever to buy/ sell in the area again it would absolutely be with them.
