From a landlord perspective. Appalling. If I could give 0 stars I would. -The agreement between us gave a charge for rent collection with a clause (point 15) saying they are not responsible for tenant rent arrears _or for chasing tenants_ when that is the entire point of those extra charges. -Gave the tenants a copy of the contract without checking it with me - would have been fine if it had been close to accurate but unfortunately it had the wrong deposit amount and spelt my name incorrectly. - Followed that up with asking me to provide reports that weren't necessary as there processes are for buildings/renovations >1year old, not for new builds. - Gave wrong information to tenants, including getting them to pay the neighbours electricity and gas bill (despite instructions at handover) - provided incomplete condition report with absolutely no comments around condition for one floor and missing outbuildings. - Suggested I had lost a key or not provided it when it was photographed in the condition report with a note saying it was 'returned to agents'. Genuinely awful. Every. Single. Interaction.

Tom and Lewis were exceptional in the way that they managed my house purchase. This was a very complicated transaction as it also depended on the sale of a house in France, where we suffered some serious delays. I think the whole chain would have fallen through had it not been for their dedication and highly-effective communication. They certainly managed to keep all parties calm when the stress of the situation might well have caused someone to pull out. The process with Winkworth from start to finish was top class. We sold our property with significant ease in a very difficult market. Winkworth unlike other local agents are honest, realistic with timings / pricing and very accommodating with viewings. Ollie was our main agent and put us very much at ease with the whole process which actually turned out to be pretty arduous due to fairly rubbish solicitors but Ollie kept everything going until close... we will not use another estate agent in kennington. Bravo to the whole team.

They had sold the house to us 20 years ago and that had been a very good experience . I'm delighted to see that their very high professional standards have been maintained. Can’t recommend this letting agency enough, had a brilliant experience with them from start to finish. Went for a viewing with Andrew for a flat in Stockwell, where he showed us round and was friendly and helpful throughout. After the viewing Andrew was able to answer all our questions and then helped us make an offer that evening. Winkworth were incredibly efficient in the whole moving in process we had the keys less than a week after making the offer meaning we could move in straight away. Amazing service and great atmosphere when we went into the office, thanks to Andrew and Winkworth for their help!
