This agency have been insufferable during our tenancy - difficult to get a hold of, dismissive of any issues in the flat, a property manager who we avoid at all costs, and an even ruder manager who oversees her. However, Whitney has been a shining light. She is approachable, always smiling, knowledgable and willing to listen. Unlike her colleagues. GoogleHuge thanks to Tom and the team at Winkworth as they have just secured a fantastic offer on our property in the Walworth area.
After inviting valuations from many different agencies, including flat-fee and hybrid agencies, Tom Floyd clearly understood our situation, as a time-strapped family selling a slightly odd property which had a risk of ending up in a chain. His manner was extremely reassuring and his pitch was realistic, well-informed and totally hype-free.
A set of fantastic photos were duly arranged, followed by a well-timed launch and a packed calendar of viewings orchestrated by the sales team. Having met them as potential buyers on other properties, Arne, Caleb, Lewis and Oliver are charming and utterly professional: they were prompt and well-informed in their communication with us, and found dozens of potential buyers.
We faced some difficult choices with offers and so really appreciated Tom's huge experience and nerves of steel in our corner. The price he achieved both confirmed his initial valuation (other agents were way off) and represented a great result for the market and the property.
Although we still have a way until completion I'm really pleased to have chosen Winkworths. In an industry dominated by sharp practices these guys shine through with their honesty, professionalism and fair dealing. I believe they outperform other agencies, certainly in our case I think they have more than proved their value already.
