We have used WJ Mead for 10 years and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Michael went out of his way to keep our buyers patient while we found a property and then take it from 0->100 when we suddenly needed to exchange quickly. Great team and could have chosen a better estate agent.

I dealt with Michael Whitby of W J Meade to sell my property. I found him to be very professional and straightforward throughout and was excellent in his communications. His achievable estimate was accurate and he took a personal interest to ensure a quick, smooth sale. I was confident that he had my best interest in mind and even listed the flat as a featured property at some stage to ensure maximum exposure . True to their word, it was under offer and sold pretty quickly. They were so helpful and easy to deal with all the way through. I would most certainly use them again and highly recommend.

Meades recently handled the sale of our house in Mile End and dealt with Billy and Michael. Friendly, welcoming and warmly professional from the outset nothing ever really felt a problem for them, and they were able to advise and guide us seamlessly through an off market sale with a non-traditional exchange/completion timescale. Communication from them throughout the process has been utterly faultless with quick response times to email queries and a friendly smile if you call unannounced into the office. I actually genuinely enjoyed the Meades experience so a big thank you! Highly recommended.

Unlike other estate agents we contacted during our house search, they listened carefully to our requirements and did a really great job of making sure we saw the properties that fit our requirements. Searching for a house during the COVID-19 pandemic obviously brought extra challenges and the team at W J Meade went above and beyond making sure we had access to the information we needed from the vendors to make an informed decision. FacebookDisgusted with the customer service from w.j Meade, one person in particular Gareth. After viewing a property and becoming interested, I was waiting to hear back after from him, when I finally did I was told she decided on someone else but wasn't set in stone as of yet and would keep me updated, to which I asked if he could help me with afew other properties I was interested in viewing etc, after texting, ringing and emailing (even the head office) I still haven't received a single update, text call or anything! It would have been nice to have at least one reply! Attached are the messages from our conversations - no updates and never told me I was unable to go for other properties!

The initial valuation meeting at the property we were selling was pleasant and confidence building. As we went through the sales process, we had a good level of communication, being informed of progress regularly.We were aware of the efforts Meades were making with both parties solicitors to try and expedite the sale.Should we ever have the need of an Estate agent in the future, it would be Meades and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Awful, do yourselves a favour instruct another Estaes agents to sell your homes your possibly losing thousands of pounds, so I viewed a maisonette put an offer in and had a missed call the day after. But no voicemail that very evening I went back on Rightmove to see the property was sold subject to contract. When I managed to speak to someone I was told the vendor had received the asking price. (Well was the vendor not interested in selling over the asking price).... old habits seem to die hard with this company I purchased a property with them some 6 years ago and I remember struggling to get my offer put forward so I ended up driving to the vendors home and agreed a price with him there and then

Billy, Harry and Michael did a great job securing the sale of our flat at a time when one bedroom flats are particularly hard to sell. Viewings were well managed (tricky in Covid times) and we were kept well-informed throughout the process. Billy negotiated a great price for us with the buyer, and although we have not yet exchanged, we are confident that the team will get us over the line as soon as possible.
