Loyal service for many years... The only estate agent you will ever need!

We have been with W J Meade since we bought our home in 2011. Since then we have bought a further flat and used W J Meade to help rent both properties before selling them both (one in 2019 and one in 2024).Harris, in particular, has been a great letting agent, providing high levels of customer service for both us and our tenants. Michael has helped us navigate the sellers' market which is never straightforward. We're particularly grateful for their honesty and tenacity when dealing with solicitors and other parties. Many estate agents will tell you what you want to hear and make hard-to-keep promises. W J Meade focuses on quality and has always delivered. Sadly, we live 200 miles away now, otherwise we would be using W J Meade for life.Thank you to Michael, Harris and the rest of the team for all your help over the years.

We had an excellent experience working with Alfie, Billie, and Michael, and couldn’t be happier with the support they gave us throughout the process! They were always incredibly prompt in replying, consistently taking the time to clarify any doubts we had and acting as a very effective bridge between us and the sellers. Their communication and professionalism made the process feel much more manageable. We’re very grateful for their help and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, responsive, and professional service!

Really professional and helpful estate agents. I've almost always had issues with landlords and estate agents, especially in London, so it's really nice to (finally) have one that is actually concerned with helping us when we need it. Even from when we first enquired about the flat, to getting the contract sorted with the landlord, Mert and the landlord were incredibly helpful and it showed such a vast difference comparing them to the estate agents I was leaving. Since moving in, any issue we've had has been replied to within 24 hours by Karolina and had the handy man come out as soon as we're available. It gives me real peace of mind knowing that we can come to them with anything and be met with professionalism and support. Couldn't recommend enough!

Very professional and invested

We chose W J Meade because they gave us confidence from the start that they would guide us through the sale of our flat and assist with completing our onward purchase as part of a property chain. The team was incredibly efficient in arranging the valuation, providing an initial quote, organizing professional photography, and marketing the property. As a result, we sold our flat within a week and received multiple offers.Throughout the process, they were always accessible via email, phone, or text, and their support in managing a three-property chain was invaluable. They helped reduce the stress for us, ensuring everything moved smoothly.Special thanks to Michael and Billy, who did an outstanding job coordinating with all parties involved, estate agents, solicitors, buyers, and sellers. Their fees are highly competitive and well worth the service they provide. We’re very pleased we chose them over other agencies in the Mile End/Bow area, as they truly went above and beyond to ensure a successful sale.I would highly recommend W J Meade!

I wouldn't want to work with any other team, I'm so grateful we found them and for all of their help.

There was a marked difference right away working with W J Meade. They were extremely responsive, communicative and easy to reach and understand from beginning to end. Billy made us feel right at home from the first showing and was beyond helpful and incredibly kind. Michael was an absolute delight and made what can be an intimidating or stressful transaction feel easy and approachable. I wouldn't want to work with any other team, I'm so grateful we found them and for all of their help.

Our first house

We have bought our first house through W J Meade. The whole team has been great and professional. We had been looking for a property for nearly a year, and for the whole time Billy was supportive and understanding of our needs and of what we were looking for. During the actual sale process, Michael and the whole team were professional and gave us close assistance every step of the way. We would definitely recommend this agency.

I’ve been renting my home through this letting agent for over three years now, and the experience has been consistently excellent. Communication is always clear, professional, and friendly, and any issues are dealt with efficiently. A special mention has to go to our property manager, Karolina, who truly goes above and beyond. She is incredibly quick to respond, always polite, helpful, and reliable, and she makes dealing with any problem completely stress-free. No matter how small or large the issue, Karolina handles everything with professionalism and genuine care, which makes such a difference as a tenant. It’s rare to find a property manager who is this responsive and dedicated - she’s an absolute credit to the company, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Five stars without hesitation.
