I've known the two directors of the Unique Property Company for nearly 15 years now as they used to specialise in an area of London where I owned a house. Earlier this year, when my tenant announced that he was moving out of a property I rent out, I was delighted to find out that Simon and Hannah were, once again, managing properties in the area. After several years of working with disappointing estate agents (all largely more interested in their own bottom line than paying attention to my needs as a client), I agreed that Hannah and Simon could let and manage the property on my behalf. I've been absolutely thrilled by their responsiveness, their flexibility and their thoroughness. They found me the kind of tenant I was hoping for within a short space of time, dealt effectively with all the minor niggles and snags that tend to crop up during the process (exacerbated by the challenges of lockdown) and I feel totally confident that my property (and its management) is in good hands for the duration of the coming let and in the years to come. Awful in terms of trying to actually speak to someone. On my second time in a week I just got passed around to 4 different people, starting with a 3rd party answer phone company, then two others, only to be told “you need to email us”.
