I have been living at Uncle Stockwell for over 3 years and absolutely love living here! The staff are really exceptional. Ruth, Duncan, Gabi, Paul and Stephanie are so warm and welcoming and always fun to chat with. They go the extra mile if you need any help and if anything breaks it is fixed by the time you come home from work. I have just extended my contract to move into one of the newly renovated studios and Ruth made the whole process an absolute breeze, as always :)The studios are beautifully decorated, modern and spacious with great storage and lovely views of the city. Location is also perfect with Stockwell station nearby and is also within walking distance of Clapham, Battersea Park and the River Thames. There is also a fully equipped gym on site along with a lounge area where you can bring friends or meet other tenants. This all combines to give a warm community environment and a lovely place to call home!Gary

We have now been living in Uncle's building (Southall) for 7 months and since the beginning it has been an amazing experience. The staff is very helpful and always supportive (Thanks Tom and Emma) plus, they are really kind people. In Uncle's building they always pay attention to commemorative dates of other cultures and do something special (which is very nice of them). The facilities are amazing, everything is automated and modern. The electronics and furniture are of the highest quality. I would say as a negative points, the fee for having pets are higher in my point of view, and we couldn't choose our heating supplier (as the water or electricity). None of those, impact in our good experience with Uncle.

If you are looking for a rental apartment in Wembley, then Uncle Wembley is the best choice. The management makes every effort to make you feel at home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Kelly and Jamie, the apartment managers are managing the apartments exceptionally well. Kelly turned out to be a true saviour for us in a particular situation and I really can't thank her enough. All in all, I definitely recommend UNCLE Wembley 👍

From our initial viewing everything about UNCLE Southall has been fantastic. We were able to see a variety of flats in the building and all of them were finished to an excellent standard, with top-of-the-line appliances and extra touches such as heated towel rails and light-up wardrobes. The communal spaces are equally amazing. While some of the spaces are being constructed the UNCLE team have been fantastic at keeping us updated and even offered use of alternative facilities.The team are super friendly and welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble.After almost a decade of renting from private (and often nightmare) landlords, I don’t think we could ever go back!

I love living here! From the very first phone call I had with Ruth everything was straight forward, open, honest and straight to the point. Ruth was very flexible for my viewing and very helpful and quick with getting all the paperwork signed for me to move.Since moving in I have gotten to know how friendly and helpful the team here in Stockwell are, from Ruth and Duncan to Paul and Gabriel. Every morning there is a friendly hello and goodbye which is a nice start to the day.I loved it so much i wanted to stay longer and Ruth was able to help me move into the other block when my contract expired and I had to leave my room due to the refurbishment.Overall the flats are nice and the team are incredible. Our move into Uncle Southall has been amazing so far ! The team are so friendly and accommodating! They even help me bring parcels up to my flat as they know I’m pregnant. Any issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. We also love the apartment and building itself - we went for unfurnished so as to customise the flat to our style. It is also pet friendly which is a massive bonus for a London flat! And all the amenities are just amazing - we are truly obsessed and so happy here. Thanks Team Uncle Southall :)

I love living at UNCLE Southall. We've been looked after since the moment we booked our viewing. Everybody is so friendly and excited to see you. All the staff remember your name and genuinely care about your life which makes living here feel really safe. We moved to London from quite far and they made sure our arrival was as stress-free as possible despite our crazy move. The building at Southall has got better every month becoming this gorgeous 1970s modern style with a huge co working space and karoake room. I'm obsessed with all the finishings. We've been kept so up to date with the building works and thanks to the soundproofing have never heard it! You won't find a better apartment for a more reasonable price so close to central London. Plus they really mean it about the community because everybody who lives here is so friendly. The atmosphere attracts really nice people who say hello to you everyday and join parties hosted by the staff. We've got a two year lease but I know already when it ends I'll miss it. I especially love that we can have pets for a reasonable small extra fee. Everybody in my block has pets and it's so cute to make friends with dogs. A big thank you to Nicole, Crisma and Cassy who are always so kind when they see us and helped us settle in so well.

I can't thank the staff enough whilst I lived at Uncle Stockwell. They were beyond welcoming, went the extra mile for everything and extremely friendly.I also acknowledged that all the staff were really close with all the residents which created a very homely environment. They made my time there so much more enjoyable and were always around for a chat when I was bored and working from home.Uncle Stockwell was well managed and if anything went wrong it was fixed instantly with experience staff who knew exactly what they were doing. I will certainly be visiting again for a catch up with them all and very upset to be leaving.

Uncle Stockwell. I lived at Uncle Stockwell for over a year. The flat was lovely, as was the co-working area, gym and building. It was very secure and I have never felt so safe whilst living in rented accommodation. The staff at Uncle Stockwell Ruth, Duncan, Paul and Gabriella were exceptionally kind. They were always happy to help and were prepared to go the extra mile to help. It has been a real pleasure to live in Uncle Stockwell, primarily due to the people who work there (named above). I would have definitely extended my tenancy were it not for the renovations. I would wholeheartedly recommend living at Uncle Stockwell to everyone!

From the get go, the team was supportive and flexible. Being a tenant at the newly built Uncle Southall apartments, as can be expected with new builds, there were be teething issues from time to time. When our move in date was postponed by a month, the team organised us a stay in the Wembley apartments free of charge as well as free transport of our belongings from Wembley to Southall when everything was finally ready. To our pleasant surprise, we were welcomed to our new home with a bottle of prosecco as well! Reports on even minor issues were dealt with in reasonable time and the reporting process was quick and easy. The apartments are also genuinely beautiful (we got the furnished ones). The few gripes we had would be with the constant (and noisy) traffic in Southall, lack of parking facilities and that the apartment we have is too close to the road, however, the sound proofing when the windows are shut is very good. Southall also doesn't have too many conventional stores so most clothes and food shopping is done in Hayes (10 minute drive) and Ealing but travel into London is quick (15 minute train to Paddington). Overall, great apartments, even better team.

I had a really great experience at Uncle Stockwell. My wife and I lived there for over 2 years. The building has a great location, we were able to walk into central London easily as well as being near to Vauxhall, Clapham and Brixton. The studio flat had everything we needed in a compact space. The real selling point of the Uncle experience is the staff, helping you to fix problems in the flat but, more importantly, the staff make you feel part of a community. A big chunk of our time at Uncle Stockwell was during the pandemic, the staff took safety and supporting residents very seriously. We felt much safer and supported there than we would with most private landlords in London. We had a great two years at Uncle Stockwell and I recommend them very highly.

Move in at your own riskThings we have had to deal with in the 1 year we have lived at Uncle Southall: the horrific smells in and outside the building (google southall stink). Not being able to open widows because of the smells during the hottest summer on record. The rubbish outside the building. The constant noise from airplanes, trains, cars honking. The flies. The black rug that sheds leaving your whole flat with black fluff everywhere. The tiny low sofa that will give you back pain that they won’t take back (edit: they did NOT try to source an alternative for us. We asked if we could swap it for a bigger one and they said NO). The internet (7 in 12 months, sometimes lasting 2-3 days), water and electricity outages. The gym that did not have ac during the hottest summer on record. The gym water tap that is always broken. The lack of just one decent cafe, a pub/ bar, a supermarket, a restaurant nearby. The nerve to charge people for coffee in the workspace area. The little crack den under the new bridge. Having to take stinky bin bags down the elevator. And if you live in apartment 1604A, you will hear and feel people on the treadmill. Staff isn’t helpful and you’ll need to push a lot to get things done. There’s no parking and don’t leave your car in the area, your windows will get smashed.

Hi J,We are flattered that you believe we can control the entire neighbourhood of Southall, but unfortunately, we are limited to building and running great accommodations across London. That said, we are happy to discuss everything that you have brought up.Re noise, we agree that Southall is a buzzy area which is close to the airport, which is one of the reasons many people who tour our building decide to live with us. As you said, parking is not something we are able to provide at our building which is why we do our best to advise of available parking spots we are aware of in the area.Re the sofa in your flat, we are sorry that you are not happy with the BoConcept furniture, however the team did try to source an alternative option for you. We aim to assist with the internet issues where we can which is why the issues you experienced were always escalated to the internet provider promptly by the site team and we always advised residents to raise any issues directly with the provider to speed up fixes. Re cafes and the like, we know that every neighborhood in the world has what they have, which is why we actively installed great coffee in the co-working lounge. We're thrilled to say that the building is filled with lovely residents who love the lounge and work their daily, so unfortunately, while we subsidize the cost of coffee, we can't provide it for free. Alternatively, we do have the hot water tap available in co-working space for anyone who wishes to make their own hot drink!Similarly, we do not run the local rubbish collection, but are happy to provide a rubbish room where you can drop your rubbish day or night, so you can keep your apartment sparkling and we take care of the rest. We always welcome our residents to make our site team aware of any issues within our common spaces as the team are very approachable and will ensure any repairs in the spaces are carried out in a reasonable time frame. We repair all standard repairs in 48 hours, so please do let us know if the gym tap breaks and we will be upstairs to repair it immediately. In the meantime, please do enjoy the views across London or the meditation area.ThanksUNCLE Team

Having lived in London for over 10 years my opinion of Landlords and the rental market had become a little jaded through my exposure to varying degrees of poor service, overcharging, and disregard from agents and property hawks. I can genuinely say that the team at Uncle New Cross have changed my opinion. I have lived in Uncle New Cross for 2 & half years and it has been an absolute pleasure to be there. The team are fast, efficient, and, importantly, genuinely care about their tenants. In particular Caroline has gone above and beyond to make our stay at Uncle NX comfortable and enjoyable. From showing us round the property initially in 2018, to organizing community events for tenants, through to delivering supplies to tenants having to self isolate during the pandemic. Caroline has made it near impossible for us to leave. Professional, courteous and has fantastic sense of humour. Thank you for making our lives in this difficult world we live in not only bearable but joyful. I'd also like to heap praise on John who has been on hand to help with everything from changing light bulbs, poor water pressure and touch ups around the property. John is also one of the most helpful and respectful people I have ever met. John is a brilliant problem solver, always happy to help and, again, puts the comfort of the tenants first. I would recommend Uncle NX Team to anyone looking to live near central London.

Hands down the BEST London accommodation, especially for young professionals/couples! My partner and I have now lived with Uncle in 2 of their London locations over the past few years and we can't find anything to complain about. From their modern, clean, fully-equipped yet reasonably priced flats, to their wonderful and super helpful staff who are always there for you and feel like a second family to us - we are so happy with Uncle and would definitely recommend it to anyone (we always try to convince our friends to move here!). Management is always responsive if anything needs fixing and they love to help out with anything you need. Also, if you're looking for really nice pet-friendly flats we would recommend their newest Wembley building where we currently live with our 6 months kitten. Everyone on reception is really lovely and the area is lively and safe!

This was the best renting experience I've had, from the whole process before moving in, til even after I've moved out, Duncan and Ruth were extremely helpful, responding rapidly to any requests for help and going above and beyond to assist with my moving out. I only left because of the job situation, I'd happily live there again though. Also the apartments themselves are of an excellent standard and the location is fantastic. I lived in the Uncle building for almost 2 years as an expat working in London. It was truly a great find and great value for the money after some very difficult housing experiences when I first arrived.Management is very responsive and the 24 hour concierge really works to ensure the residents have all they need. Particularly notable are Eugene and Alfredo who normally work the evening shift. They go above and beyond to support the residents and their guests. The apartment complex has aimed to create a family environment and they definitely succeeded.Even during the COVID crisis, I felt like I was in one of the safest places I could be. If I returned to London would definitely consider staying again.

Fantastic property for short term let in Elephant. Thoughtfully designed. Staff are amazing and treat you as an individual. Special shout out to the concierge - particularly Farid (possibly the nicest man ever) - they’re all great. The back office team are also super friendly and helpful - headed up by Anna - both professional and efficient. Both groups were also supportive when dealing with repeated antisocial behaviour from other residents with parties until 4am unfortunately all too common - the management try their hardest but it takes months to remove any antisocial residents. If I were able to sleep through the night more than 5 nights a week it would be 5 stars.

Well, where do I start? We used to live in UNCLE Stockwell which was a pleasure. When we moved in to Stockwell we were pleasantly greeted, shown around and looked after by Daniel and Maria. They were so wonderful during the entire 18 months we stayed, when we caught word that they would be the new resident managers of UNCLE Wembley, we had to move! Since moving to Wembley, they have been ace. There are a few parts of the building that aren’t ready just yet but they really do go above and beyond to make everything the best it can be. They’re so friendly, caring and really do always do everything they can to help. The building is beautiful and apartments are flawless! Seriously, keep up the work guys, you’re really appreciated! The whole team at Wembley is exceptional! X
