GoogleWe chose to sell our flat through Stow Brothers after a few recommendations, and we were nervous about using an estate agent. We were instantly impressed. So much effort went into the photography and videos of our property and it really showed in the results. The viewing process was really simple, Eva at the Hackney office did her best to work with times that suited us. The sale itself was a really long process due to our buyers solicitor. It caused a lot of stress but Eva and the Hackney team really went above and beyond to get the deal done and worked really closely with our solicitor. We honestly cannot thank the team enough for all their support, their persistence and patience, I honestly don't think our sale would have gone through without their support. Thank you SO much!

A long awaited heartfelt thanks to Jon at stow brothers E17.My house was sold in July 2019. During the selling process I had a significant bereavement. I can say that Jon who I dealt with directly showed me understanding, sensitivity and a calm approach at a very traumatic time.. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stow brothers and have recommended friends, who have also had a good experience in customer care.

This agency, seemingly alternative and boutique, is part of the gentrification and related problems in East London. They arrange all viewings for sales and rental places in a limited slot on the same day and hence arrange 30-40 viewings at a time, create a good psychological environment for competition and then make people compete over their offers. This way they increase the rental / sales prices in the area. People who want to sell and rent for higher prices work with them. That gives way to the vicious circle. And the arrogance of the people working there, all young, hipster looking kids-/is incredible!

We were looking at a house in forest gate and when we contacted the agent, we couldn't choose any other day or time to view the house, only on Saturday 1130. So fine, they insist that we can only come at that time so we did, and then we showed up only to find that there is a queue for the viewing, we had to wait half an hour just to view the house and the estate agent never even checked that we had booked an appointment so there was zero security, funny enough we never even got to talk to the agent because they were just crowding and letting multiple parties view the house at the same time! Terrible service, in the end no matter how nice the house was we were completely soured by their service - disgusting tactics (hoarding all interested parties into one single day and viewing at the same time to make them queue and create fake demand) and the real estate agent did not even walked us around the house

My experience with Stow Brothers has been incredibly disappointing, and I can confidently say they are the worst letting agent I have ever encountered. Their actions have been consistently biased against tenants, demonstrating a complete lack of integrity and fairness.Upon expressing interest in renting through Stow Brothers, I paid a substantial holding deposit under the impression that it would secure the property for me. However, despite my efforts to provide accurate information and cooperate fully, including undergoing the right to rent verification process, they unfairly decided to retain my deposit.Their decision to keep my deposit was not only unjust but also deeply frustrating. Stow Brothers failed to provide any valid reason or justification for their actions, leaving me feeling deceived and financially disadvantaged.Throughout this ordeal, their communication was severely lacking. They were quick to collect fees and deposits but utterly negligent when it came to addressing my concerns or providing timely updates on the status of my deposit.It is abundantly clear that Stow Brothers prioritizes their own financial gain over the well-being and rights of tenants. Their unethical practices and disregard for fairness are appalling and should serve as a warning to anyone considering renting through them.In conclusion, I strongly advise against engaging with Stow Brothers for any rental transactions. Their reputation as the worst letting agent is well-deserved, and I regret ever trusting them with my housing needs. Seek out a letting agent that values honesty, and transparency, and respects tenant rights, because Stow Brothers certainly do not.
