GoogleHad a pretty poor experience of The Stow Brothers whilst renting one of their properties. At first they seem friendly and helpful but once we signed the contract and moved in it was a different story. Stay away. The property needed a lot of work. Was agreed something would be sorted within a reasonable amount of time and that took over 3 months. Although properly was meant to be clean was very dusty, furniture was knackered. Kitchen floor tiles kept coming loose and was very sharp and dangerous. Tiles were put on top of a wooden floor and most people with a brain knows that is a bad idea. Everything just seemed like a lot of effort for them so we just gave up with the requests in the end. Just to mention they had the power to do work as they managed the property. Sink was leaking into our neighbours bedroom - they don't have an evenings and weekend emergency number!

GoogleGood experience with purchasing through Stow Brothers in 2021 meant it was natural to move to their management service when I moved away. The service and record keeping are both very good (having worked with other companies, this cannot be taken for granted!). Hanna Dewsnap is currently managing the flat and I've been very happy with quality of her work. Her communications are consistently timely and helpful; her efforts have made the most recent tenancy such a breeze. Jon has also been available when I've needed advice, which has been helpful as he has been involved from the start of my working with the Stow Brothers.
