GoogleWe can not praise TMH high enough. The sale of our property wasn't straightforward but thanks to an easy and responsive communication the whole process ended up being a lot less stressful than it could have been. It was good to have one dedicated person to speak to. But when they were away they made sure that they handed over to somebody in the team who was equally easy to talk to and responsive. Overall a great service!

I couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent to support me in the sale of my house in Hackney, particularly given a very disappointing experience with a prior agent. As a first-time seller navigating a complex process in challenging market conditions, there was a lot to take on board and many uncertainties along the way. Manon combined clear-headed professionalism with support and empathy throughout, and was consistently good-natured and warm in all our interactions. In particular, she handled the final negotiations with great skill and judgment, guiding the sale to a better outcome than I expected, even though I didn’t entirely understand the strategy at the time. When complications arose just before exchange, she remained calm, patient, and constructive while I was feeling anxious.

Really good from start to finish. They were always able to schedule viewing times that suited us, even at short notice. Emily McEwan was so helpful and encouraging throughout - once we had the survey results she made sure that communication was smooth between us and the seller, which really helped avoid any misunderstandings. They really were a cut above all the other estate agent we encountered - we never felt any pressure, and they really seem to enjoy their work. Great job.

GoogleAwful experience buying a property with TMH. I’ll update with a full review soon, however Charlotte R their representative was difficult to deal with from the beginning, often making situations with a rude and aggressive vendor even worse. The vendors that they represented maliciously damaged the house which has took over a week of my time to deal with and legal intervention to put right. Don’t think because you’re buying from them that you’re getting a better service- I’ve bought and sold properties over the past 15+ years and never had an experience like this, it’s left us genuinely traumatised.

GoogleWe’ve recently had a very satisfactory experience selling our grade 2 listed flat through the Modern House. Every member of the team we dealt with along the way was personable and professional. The advice on dressing an empty flat was very helpful and led to excellent photos. Our salesperson, Felix North, was responsive and proactive throughout the process and helped bring the sale to completion in a relatively short period of time. We would certainly recommend the Modern House.

GoogleI have viewed a couple properties and also submitted an offer to one with the Modern House. To be perfectly honest, the elegance and calmness this agency project through all of their team members was so impressive. Compared to all other real estate agencies I have dealt with in London, the Modern House team were at another level. Polly at the office and Aaron as the Sales advisor were pleasure to interact with. We place an emphasis on aesthetics, style and design and it's rare that estate agents really "get it".The Modern House is like no other agent.They get it ! The people and the approach are unique and inspiring.They totally understand the importance of design and they position their properties accordingly. Twice tried to organise viewings of a property with the Modern House and twice cancelled then told the property is off the market as an offer had been accepted. All when we were serious potential cash buyers and could have potentially got the sellers more money. Perhaps not the agents priority to do so…. I think I also dealt with three people in their agency so I expect comms may have been lacking which given the types of property they sell is surprising. We have two properties that are of the type they would sell so long term they may have missed out here…

From the valuation stage with Lucy Drane, who instantly picked up the measure of the house and wrote the illuminating listing to the sympathetic and stunning photography undertaken during the pandemic by Elliot to the final sale stages with Jack who we could not fault. Jack was utterly professional with an easy charm that pervaded our conversations. He always returned calls, followed up on viewings and gave us the information required at each stage of the sale.
