Every now and then you come across a platform that is a genuine game changer and The Depositary is exactly that. Undoubtedly The Depositary will become a platform used by everyone in our industry. The automation is sleek - the importation and "reading" of your inventory and then the delivery into chargeable deductions is concise and beautifully executed. It literally saves hours and hours of time and removes human error. The game changer though is how a proposed deduction is viewed by the tenant. The presentation is such that it is so much easier for the tenant to make an informed decision as to whether the deduction is fair, by providing before and after commentary and photographic evidence from the check in and check out. The communication between Property Manager and tenant is therefore much improved, the emotion is removed by the method of delivery. And one click "send to dispute" is incredible. No longer will property managers have the feeling of dread when adjudication is needed. Support is spot on - and in real time. Cannot fault it and can only praise. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, and a huge well done to Kristjan, Carla and the rest of the team.

As a Property Manager, Depositary is everything you want the deposit release process to be like. Its super easy to use, tenants and landlords get all the information they need and so much time is saved when you don't have to email back and forth between tenants and landlords. It also allows you to keep track of all your deposit releases which you can access anywhere and on any device. Carla is also on hand to help if there are any issues and there are regular training sessions so you know how to use it properly. Its a game changing piece of software and I wouldn't bother using anything else.

Having this should be a no brainer in your proptech

Literally the best bit of proptech to be invented in years which keeps getting better and better. It massively reduces the time, stress and energy involved in ending a tenancy and dealing with the deposit. I'm excited about the latest AI release but haven't used it just yet. I love it not just to reduce my time, but also for my Let Only Landlords, it gives them one more reason to use my services as it makes it so much easier for them as well.

"Agents Assemble" - anyone not using this needs their head tested!!!

Ask your Property Managers what do they hate the most about their job - and odds on its dealing with deposits. For a small amount of money per month you can make their lives so much better , with this modern, slick and an easy to use tool. Use it with the TDS and Inventoryhive and you have an end of tenancy process which is destined to be pain free . Giving you more time to grow your business. Big shout out to Carla who is fricking awesome

CARLA - YOU ARE INCREDIBLE

I cannot express how incredible these guys are, especially Carla Burnett. We started looking to use the platform late last year, and I/We were so impressed with the platform and the team, I decided to move over all our tenancy deposits from one supplier to another, just so our company could use The Depositary. Nothing is too much of an ask, and Carla is such a credit to the company. The platform is so easy to navigate and saves me & my team hours worth of admin time, and saves human error as well with deposits getting "forgotten" about. I have only been using the platform for a short while, but the feedback from our clients already has been so positive. It was a great decision to make. Game Changer

We have been using the Depositary for a few months now and the difference is amazing! The end of Tenancy process makes it so much easier nothing is forgotten everyone is aware of what point the process is at and the disputes if any. With the student lets we do we have in 6 weeks 90+ move outs to deal with is usually a VERY stressful time going to and from landlord and tenants but this is making my work load a whole lot lighter which is so welcoming. A Year On....

This was my review just after signing and using The Depositary after a few weeks: The Depository system allows us to significantly reduce the amount of time spent ending any tenancy. Simply put, the intuitive process assigns the outstanding tasks to the relevant stakeholders (Tenant, Landlord, agent) throughout and saves calls and e-mails into and out of the office asking for The feedback we have had so far is that the system clearly explains and manages expectations by explaining to each party the deposit legislation really well and that all parties positions are being taken into account. There is far less accusations being levelled at us as being for or against either party. That in itself is a really creditable benefit. Our lettings team have got their time and sanity back at long last(!) and our own credibility as a fair minded and technology minded agent has been further enhanced. A great platform for busy letting agents. Well... a year on and my review is very much the same. Some additional integration and development has been very welcome. Our inventory software (inventory hive) has been developed to align with The Depositary which is great work with the two companies. This constant strive to improve efficiencies is what makes me so keen to promote these guys wherever and whenever I can. It’s great to see my lettings team take checkouts in their stride now and deal with them as a matter of fact, rather than gnashing their teeth and despairing when anyone handed their notice in. Well worth adding to your lettings operation
