GoogleI can’t believe how painful it was to leave this agency, especially after they unfairly deducted from our deposit. I will never rent from them again. I’ve rented with other agencies like foxton before and never had such issues.
My experience was a constant battle.calling them to deal with impolite agent, complaining about a ‘refurbished’ flat that was falling apart, and struggling to get repairs done. The constant mold was unbelievable! How is it possible to pay almost £1,800 a month for a flat with mould, cheap paint, a leaking boiler, and a washing machine. Anyway, it’s over now, and life goes on

We’re sorry you were unhappy at the end of your tenancy. Just to clarify, our deposit return process follows the legal guidelines set by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, which includes checking that all final bills are paid and that the property is returned in accordance with the signed inventory. This is standard practice across the industry.
If you believed any deductions were unfair, you had the right to raise a dispute with the deposit scheme, a free, impartial service designed specifically for this purpose. To our knowledge, you chose not to pursue this option.
Regarding the condition of the property, the flat was refurbished shortly before your tenancy and passed all required safety and compliance standards. Had issues such as mould or appliance faults been properly reported through the correct channels, they would have been addressed swiftly, as is our consistent practice with other tenants.
On a side note, having looked at your wider review history on Google, it appears this isn’t the first time you’ve had a negative experience with a business. While we understand that not every interaction goes perfectly, perhaps a more positive outlook might lead to better outcomes all round.

Christine was our sales coordinator and she was AMAZING. She did everything she could to ensure our sale and purchase proceeded in a timely manner and she provided regular updates throughout. GoogleI should review earlier - I moved out roughly 3 months ago, but I was very thankful to SW19 who provided good service in past 1 years and 2 months, from beginning to the end. Stephen was the guy who guided me the house view and he was very friendly and helpful providing suggestion (indeed that flat was a perfect fit for me). My credit check met some problem as I moved back to this country when forgetting my previous address...! while Stephen was very helpful and patient and finally I managed to find the old address and passed the check. During my live, we met some small but urgent issue with the door, etc, though it's out of working hour, Debbie - the property manager picked up the call and provided instant help, which was very impressive. Check out was smooth, with clear guide and help connect with professional cleansing agent to make check-out extremely smooth.
I've read some '1 star' comment saying staffs were rude...well, they were not most polite people I've met, but definitely not rude. I do think they are professional, straightforward (very clear on yes and no) and pragmatic.

GoogleUnfortunately, we had a deeply unsatisfactory experience dealing with Jennifer Aubert at this agency regarding a holding deposit. After paying a £450 deposit in good faith, we transparently disclosed during referencing that one tenant was employed on back-to-back contracts, continuous employment for over two years, yet lacked a single long-term contract document. Despite clearly demonstrating consistent income and affordability, Ms Aubert insisted on retaining our deposit because we had supposedly “wasted the landlord’s time.”
This justification is not only unreasonable but unlawful under Schedule 2 of the Tenant Fees Act 2019, which permits retaining holding deposits only under specific statutory conditions, none of which applied here. The agency’s actions have been misleading, unprofessional, and have caused unnecessary stress.
I would strongly recommend both prospective tenants and ethical landlords to approach this agency with considerable caution. Prospective tenants deserve fair, transparent, and lawful treatment, and responsible landlords should carefully consider how their reputation may be impacted by an agency conducting business in this manner.

William, let’s be honest, you misrepresented your financial situation and failed to provide the transparency expected during referencing and now your attempting to spin that into a story of unfair treatment!
The truth is, your application unraveled when it became clear you couldn’t substantiate your income in a way that met SW19's and the landlord’s requirements, despite multiple chances. Our team acted entirely with professionalism and followed the correct process throughout.
We prefer working with genuine applicants who are upfront and truthful from the outset.

When you are not living in the country it is really important have faith in the agents you have looking after your property. Clare and her team were always attentive, looked after the tenants and the property and great communicators. When we decided to sell the property we asked SW19 to look after the sale and again gave us great advice and were equally as professional and helpful throughout the sale process helping our tenants find a new home and helping with organising the moving of our belongings from the house to another location while we were not there.

GoogleAwful agency. Once you’ve signed your tenancy they treat you like dirt. Makes Stath let’s flats look like selling sunset! Renters avoid at all costs.
Just had a reply saying I left the house in a terrible state. I paid for a full deep clean including carpets of the house as well as a gardener to ensure there were no issues when I left. They still fabricated reasons why I owed them money which was ludicrous. This scumbag agency are liars and crooks. Do not rent from them as they will rip you off. Landlords - find another agency where the staff have some morals.
I have multiple pictures of the property I vacated showing how clean and lovely it was at my own expense. If anyone wants to check facts you are more than welcome.
