Truly terrible estate agents. For the past five days both my husband and I have contacted them repeatedly to ask for a home report for a property they're advertising for sale with no response. Recorded voicemail when you call does not return the messages left, and gives an office number to call if "urgent" but that number loops you back to the same voicemail. Nick, you suck at your job. The chat bot they have takes your request and doesn't get back to you. The number to dial via Rightmove gets you nowhere either. Honestly, if I was selling through them I'd be incredibly unhappy. Truly awful company offering no service to buyers.

Execellent service as selling agents for our W8 house. The service we received from James Gow and his team was fantastic, highly professional and showed their depth of the market and the sale process from start to finish. From advising us on timing, price and presentation at the start we were able to present the property in its best light to achieve an asking price offer in a difficult market. James led the process up to exchange and completion by keeping all parties up to date on issues and assisting in negotiating solutions acceptable to the buyers and ourselves. This was valuable to keep up momentum on the sale. We thought the information flow was perfect - a whatsapp group with up to date feedback on all viewings, weekly updates and phone calls for the important issues. Cambridge rentals fiasco

This relates to the rentals service in Cambridge. We rented a house from Strutt & Parker for more than three years. They were never quick to deal with repairs and other issues, however we had a direct relationship with the owner which made life easier. When we moved out at the end of June 2024, we got the full benefit of Strutt & Parker's contempt for tenants, stunning slowness and incompetence. It took them nearly four months -- until 28 October 2024 -- to return the deposit. There was a litany of lame excuses about the time needed for estimates for some minor repairs. The reality was that it just wasn't a priority, they didn't care and they couldn't even work out which photographs attached to the contract corresponded to which actual rooms. If you rent property in Cambridge, beware this lot. Or at least be ready to suffer.
