Shaz and his team are FANTASTIC!!! They made the selling process so easy and helped me understand what was happening every step of the way. Shaz truly understands how to sell houses. He made the process incredibly easy and his thorough knowledge, not only of general housing market, but of the local market made it a great pleasure throughout the whole process. He was extremely patient and eased our decision making process. We had a professional photographer at our house and within less than a week, we had offers and secured an offer within two weeks of it being on the market. Stonebridge was friendly and professional from the outset. They promised to sell the property before Christmas after another leading agency had let me down. I must stress the agency that let me down was not through their own faults but the faults of the buyers. Stonebridge made sure that all my needs and requirements were met and beyond. Shaz, Mitul and the team were the estate agents for the sellers on our purchase. It wasn’t straight forward due to some solicitor issues but thanks to the team at StoneBridge we were able to get back on track with them providing helpful advice throughout. The biggest things they did for us was to get a bridge call with our solicitor and get straight answers and actions out of them. Without that i don’t think we would of hit our deadline. The team at Ashtree Park, Barnard Castle have been amazing from start to finish. They have been so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home straight away with the most fabulous of welcome packages. We had a few snagging issues (but all minor) and the team couldn’t be any more helpful and kind in putting them right promptly, they really couldn’t help enough. Very poor purchase experience

My husband and I like to support independent and smaller businesses, however our experience with Stonebridge has unfortunately been costly and time consuming. Communication was poor from the start. This should have been sufficient warning, however it was Easter holiday time and we gave the agent the benefit of the doubt. However when holiday time was over, emails were not responded to, the memorandum of sale wasn't issued as agreed and worst of all the house that we had an offer accepted for was still on the market, and this was over three weeks after our offer was accepted. After several emails and phone calls this was eventually rectified and we thought finally the purchase was moving forward, only to be told by our solicitor that we were not the only people purchasing this property and that we had entered into a contract race without our knowledge. This situation was never explained to us or raised by the agent. We again returned to the agent for clarification and were promised that this would be rectified, and despite reassurances our solicitors were not notified. We eventually realised that these were false promises and we were being strung along and had no option but to pull out of the sale. This has been a costly and time consuming lesson.

I recently purchased my first house through Stonebridge and I really valued their professional and considerate service. I had been searching for a house for 18 months, I had liaised with 15+ local firms, seen c.40 houses. And, if I was to sell my house today, I'd choose Shaz and Afzal to represent me without a second thought (see reasons below). The house I've bought wasn't my first interaction with Stonebridge, I was close to buying one a year before but was unsuccessful. It was after this initial meet that I came to respect how Stonebridge works. On both occasions, I found them to be kind and honest (can't say the same about several other agents). Importantly, I came to really respect how they looked after their client's interests (i.e. the seller) whilst being measured and professional with buyers (i.e. me). During my journey, I came across local agents who were very happy and quick to sacrifice their customer's interests to simply secure a quick sale (or had the cheek to openly ask for a back hander to deal at a lower price). It really pleased me that there was none of this with Stonebridge as making an ethical purchase was super important to me (something many people said to me wasnt possible). Thank you Stonebridge!
