GoogleAbsolute nightmare, I would never trust them with any property after my experience. Our flat was condemned as uninhabitable due to the damp and mould, my partners health was affected with continued chest infections to a point where it hurt to breathe, she worked from home so was exposed to the house the most the doctor literally told her she needed to get out the house multiple times a day if possible. Stapleton Long didn’t do anything about this with the information we gave them, they didn’t offer new accommodations NOTHING just continuously ignore us. Our furniture was ruined and they told us to simply vent the flat… which we did the flat had PENETRATING DAMP in 80% of the walls, opening a window couldn’t help. I have now seen they have relisted this flat DURBAN ROAD without carrying out the proper treatment. I don’t want another person to suffer as we have. GoogleAfter a great start when we first took a rental via Wasim, who was great fun to work with - it all went downhill. We had a leak under the sink and as SL were fully managing the property they sent two plumbers to fix it. No 24 hours notice, no communication, we just found these guys in the house as they had let themselves in... which is against the law. Later when I moved out Wasim was suddenly gone (super awkward and we think maybe he was fired) - no one was picking up his emails and the office had no idea about how he'd been managing us. The guy we met with had no clue what was going on and after that email communication was terrible and we had to chase repeatedly on every single point. Although I moved a few months before the end of the contract I understand SL put my flatmates under a lot of pressure to move quickly as the landlords rushed back to the UK before lockdown. They didn't have enough time to do a deep clean then of course tried to deduct the deposit for this. Luckily we have DPS to arbitrate now. I'm sick of feeling like a second class citizen if you have to rent in this country and SL once again treated me badly and made me feel this way. GoogleAppalling communication in relation to a rental offer I submitted. I had to constantly chase for a response and only ended up finding out ithe property had in fact been let to someone else after seeing the let had been agreed on the Stapleton Ling website. Very poor communication and customer service

The lettings market is very competitive currently and we generally receive multiple offers for every property that goes onto the market. The landlord did not want to commit to a two-year tenancy. We even offered you another similar property before it officially went onto the market which you decided not to view. We wish you the best of luck with your search.

GoogleReally unprofessional and apathetic people to deal with - I put in an offer to purchase a house and was told I'd hear by X date. I had to chase every day for updates, and after being told multiple times I'd hear by the end of the day and never hearing from them I gave up. Still haven't heard that our offer was rejected, and have found out from Zoopla and Rightmove that the property has now been sold. Definitely some dodgy stuff going on behind closed doors and would not trust this company. They haven't help estate agent's reputations at allNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

We had in excess of 15 offers on this property and the landlords quite rightly wanted to think about their options. We can only act on our clients instructions and we held no instructions on this matter until you were notified (email dated 17th April). Sometimes the buying process can be very frustrating and we are sorry to see your above comments. However, your unfounded allegations of us doing 'dodgy stuff' are completely untrue.
