GoogleVery disappointing experience. I was having a busy and very difficult work week, and was unfortunately late on two viewings (about 10-15min each time). The second time the estate agent (a different one from the first time) did not wait more than 10min and left. He had called me 30min before the viewing to confirm. I was on the tube and did not have any reception. I emailed as soon as I could and we got there 12min after the time but the agent had already left. He did not call to check with me before leaving. When I did call he told me that it was my fault and that I should have been there by 1.30 and that he had waited 20min for me (clearly that was not true since we arrived 12min after and he had already left). I explained to him that I had traveled 90min to see the flat and that I had had a difficult week and that sometimes professional calls took longer which meant I might be delayed. He told me that he had called me and that my phone had gone straight to voicemail. I explained to him that I was on the tube when he called, he said that it was on me for not picking up.. (I mean how am I supposed to fix that?). I have routinely been left waiting with other agency and have never complained because I understand sometimes life just happens. The agent was extremely rude and kept talking over me and my friend who eventually took the phone because I was too upset by the way he was talking to me. My friend tried to just ask a question but the agent just continued talking over him and never let him speak. He just went on and on about how it was my fault and I should just leave a lot earlier to make it on time for the viewing (I’m not sure I can leave work earlier than 5 which is already quite early by any professional standards). It felt like this was someone who clearly had led a rather privileged life and who never had instances where things did not go according to plan. It was quite shocking to think that I had spent all this time and effort and he could not spend more than 10min on me… I’m not sure this agent is representing his seller properly. It was very shocking to be treated in this manner by someone who is supposed to provide a service to me and the seller. I will no longer work with this agency no matter how much I like the property. My friend who owns properties will likewise not be using their services. Perhaps they are doing so well that they don’t need new customers? I would advice you steer clear from this place unless you want to deal with people who have no basic human decency.

As you can appreciate, we receive a high number of enquiries and appointments for property viewings. It is an incredibly busy period for us at present and Saturday also tends to be our busiest day with back-to-back viewings throughout the day. We are unable to wait any longer than 10-15 minutes after the agreed appointment time, as this would create delays for our subsequent appointments, therefore creating a knock-on effect.
We try to ensure we are on time for all of our viewings so our clients are not left waiting, as I know is often the case as you have mentioned with other agencies.

GoogleI had business with Sinton Andrews for over 4 years since I rented a flat in Ealing managed by them. Apart from the fact I was delighted to deal with lovely landlords (which is rare), the flat was pretty good but I have to say one of the main reasons why I stayed within the flat for this long was the service provided by SA. The entire organization seemed to be great, from the team who managed the contract to the property manager (Alan Clark) who directly managed the flat. Along 4 years we had natural hiccups due to normal plumbing, doors, oven issues etc. and even during pick pandemic times they were extremely responsive, professional and solved all problems. GoogleUnprofessional and, in my opinion, clueless. Sold me my property about 5+ yrs ago and after giving a valuation, they slashed about 50k off my property to make a quick buck (sent photographer ahead of signing a contract with them). Complete cowboy behavior. Ive blacklisted them entirely, and my family as well. Ignoring their listings altogether even if I like the properties. My recommendation is to avoid this agent unless you don’t have a choice.

GoogleSinton Andrew acted as dual agent on a property we were selling. We sold the property through the other agent, sale was going through smoothly, Sinton Andrew proactively engaged the buyers and got them to buy one of theirs instead, hence we lost the buyer long into the process. They don't understand the concept of putting the client first and will act underhand to secure a sale. Extremely unprofessional, lack integrity, it's this kind of behaviour that gives estate agents a bad name.

Jamie, thank you for your review, clearly we can’t please all the people all the time however hard we try. Nevertheless in our defence I do believe that you have a number of your facts incorrect therefore painting a picture that seems to make us the Fly in the Ointment whereas the true facts give a somewhat different picture.
I can categorically deny that we “proactively engaged the buyers to buy one of our properties”, your buyers were simply on our mailing list and responded to a new instruction. This indicates that your sale was far from “going through smoothly”, quite the opposite in fact. Even if we had acted as you allege, we have done nothing unprofessional, we simply dealt with an enquiry on one of our properties, our client of that property would certainly have had grounds to complain if we had not acted on the request.
If there is someone to blame it would be whoever advised you to take the property off the market prior to seeing some real commitment from your buyer. This is how we would have looked after you as we do all our clients most of whom are delighted with our professional approach.

GoogleWe had been with Sinton Andrews for 4 years while renting in West Ealing and the only reason we aren’t with them any more is because we’ve moved outside of London.
Any issues we had during our tenancy were dealt with swiftly - sometimes even on the same day. The property manager Alan, who looked after our flat, was available at all times, proactive, and dedicated. And most of all, we always felt the agency was on our side, never allowing the landlord to take the mickey with rent increases or silly demands or anything.
If we ever come back to live in Ealing again, Sinton Andrews will be the first agency we’ll look for.

GoogleBuyers don’t normally write reviews for sellers’ agents, but it’s a testament to the professionalism of Adam and Phil at Sinton Andrews that I feel compelled to write this review. We’ve recently exchanged on a property marketed by Sinton Andrews and dealing with the team has been a pleasure throughout. Extremely responsive, pragmatic, considerate to us as buyers, but firm in conveying their clients’ position, knowledgeable about the local area and very good with proactively chasing our sales agent very frequently (to ensure the chain was kept moving). They also take care to ensure all parties to a transaction feel valued, with little touches like a call to congratulate us on exchange and a letter the very next day - it’s a small gesture, but means a lot when you’re selling and buying a new home and go through the stresses of a protracted conveyancing process. I wouldn’t hesitate to use or recommend the Sinton Andrews Ealing team for any future property transactions in Ealing. It is probably little surprise that they have some of the nicest stock of period homes in the Ealing area on their books.
