Josh was really responsive and always took the time to field our questions. We didn’t feel pressured at any point and felt totally in control. Josh and his colleagues were especially effective towards the end of the process where there was a bit of a hiccup with the exchange. I’d definitely use Pedder again.

Smooth Flat Purchase from Pedder

Purchased a flat with Pedder as the seller's representatives in East Dulwich. Catherine was my POC and she was communicative, easy to work with throughout the sale, and also accommodating (like when I wanted extra viewings to show my parents around). Difficult to get deposit back and don't look into wear & tear

We have just finished the tenancy with Pedder Dulwich Village and they seem to be heavily favouring landlords for checkout deposit process. We paid for an expensive professional end of tenancy clean but pedder inventory clerk reported such minor issues that it looked hilarious to even notice it.Similarly, they didn't take normal wear and tear into account and Pedder just asked me to talk directly to the landlord for deposit negotiations instead of looking to propose and release the deposit. It sounds a big pain to get the deposit back.I would refrain from taking a property again from Pedder and suggest them to be practical so that people have a smooth experience.

I have let my rental flat through Pedder for over 10 years. I have always been very pleased with their service. The last two lettings have been handled by Esme and she has exceeded even the normally high standards of Pedder. Nothing is too much trouble for her. The attention and manner in which she has found suitable tenants and looked after every aspect of the various processes, from introducing them as suitable tenants, to organising all the agreements and other paperwork, has been truly exemplary. She is always a complete pleasure to speak to, friendly and very well informed, who clearly cares deeply about finding the right tenants for my flat, as well as ensuring that the property is also the right home for the tenants.
