GoogleEnquired about a property to rent & was shown it. I was happy and made a decision on it immediately. Was advised by Shaun to move quick because it’s a hot property in a busy area so I told him there and then that I wanted it. Was sent an offer form which contained my offer, requests, income etc (which I pass the criteria for). Weirdly the form ( a word document) has a section to fill in my card details and card number etc..Filled the form and sent it back within 15 minutes of my viewing and waited. Called the next day and told them that I wanted the property, and I’m ready to place a holding deposit - they told me sure, the landlord usually likes to meet his tenants in a coffee shop to know them a little more before renting out to them - which is understandable. A few days pass and I’ve heard nothing, gave them another call and asked what’s going on with the meeting? The agent said he will chase the landlord.. it’s now been even longer and I’ve seen that the property has been removed and says “let” on their website. I understand that it’s a hot property and properties go fast but I was not even told or updated about anything? I didn’t place a holding deposit on another property because this was located in my preferred location… at least update your people of interest and tell them that the property is under offer, or someone else has placed a deposit! Poor communication. Really unhappy

Lottie was polite and friendly but firm and direct when she needed to be. She got the sale her client wanted. I also felt that she advocated for us as buyers. A couple of admin hiccups resulted from not passing on information to the buyer or colleagues in between annual leave. Overall 5 stars.
