GoogleRecently bought a house on which KFH Tooting were acting for the sellers. The viewing process was a cinch and I didn't feel pressured or like we were wasting time on properties that didn't fit for me.
There were a few hiccups through the sale & purchase process but Daniel Todd was impressive - particularly at crunch time at the end - responsive and polite. It felt as though he was on the side of the deal getting done in a way that worked for everyone, rather than trying to squeeze an advantage for the sellers in a frothy market. That meant he earned my trust, which is the thing I expect it's hardest for estate agents to get hold of.
Having had the misfortune to see two purchases fall through earlier this year, I've been in discussions with my fair share of estate agents. It's struck me throughout that the best way to get a seller's business in the future is surely to impress a buyer now, which KFH have done. GoogleWe wanted to go with KHF to sell our flat as the valuation service from Antony was so much more professional than the competition but the price offered by PB was much more competitive. In the end we took a punt and went with KFH and so glad we did. Daniel looked after our sale and was the right balance of friendly yet professional and sold our flat within a week. GoogleI dealt with Daniel Todd at the Tooting office. He was always polite, punctual, responsive and effective. We got to see the property when we needed to, as did our surveyors. Questions and communication with the seller were dealt with rapidly. He did his job well, balancing the needs of buyer and seller. As a result the sale went through very quickly. KFH have a full set of support services, but my experience with these was mixed. One was superb, straight talking and factual, the other used FUD tactics (fear uncertainty and doubt). My advice is to ask your friends when it comes to finding a conveyancing solicitor and your mortgage lender for the surveyor (good place to start anyway). However, these experiences don't reflect on Daniel - he was perfect for our needs.

Although a relatively simple sale, unfortunate personal circumstances during the middle and end stages made things more difficult for me. Nevertheless Charles helped move the process smoothly through to completion. From a conversation with my buyer, I know he was similarly impressed by Charles.
They advised I use one of their partner solicitors for conveyancing and a lease extension. Although initially unsure, I followed this advice and although not the cheapest, they were neither the most expensive. Communication was very good and the lease extension specialist was patient in helping me understand the process.

GoogleWhen selling our flat, KFH were the most honest and realistic about what we could achieve. The 2 other biggest names in the area came in with valuations between 10% and 20% too high, in an obvious attempt to get our business, before forcing us to cut the price. Once on the market, Martin got us an offer much quicker than we expected. Due to circumstances outside his control, we ended up winning the record for longest sale to go through for the branch, but Martin was fantastic throughout, doing way more than necessary. GoogleWe dealt primarily with Eden Douglas from the Tooting branch of KFH when renting a property in London. We had a face time viewing due to covid-19 and also were given a video of the property. Eden was fantastic and went out of his way to help us with any queries we had during the process and always gave quick responses. Eden even took part of his day off on the bank holiday to help us leave our stuff off at our flat when our check in date had been pushed back , just to help us out, which we very much appreciated. Our process with renting a property with KFH was made very smoothly due to our dealings with Eden and also Charlotte, who helped us out with our numerous questions and made the process go much more smoothly. Would recommend this branch to those looking for a quick and hassle free renting experience. From start to finish she was professional,
empathetic and transparent, which helped to move things along. She was very accommodating when asking for multiple viewings to measure etc. and revisited us a few months later to see the progress we’d made on the house.

GoogleI dealt with Eden Douglas a year ago regarding my flat and he was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure I got the flat of my dreams. I'd highly recommend working with him! Because my LL is selling, I went back to KFH to find my next one. I dealt with Marta this time, unfortunately. She lied about the flat having a tumble dryer then pretended to not remember the conversation. Shame on me for not putting it in writing. KFH is like any business, some good agents and some bad. Lesson learned and I won't be using them again in the future.
