Jukes have managed my rental property for the past three years. They have always been professional, pleasant to work with and their services offer excellent value for money. The staff at Jukes have on several occasions gone beyond to help and provide an excellent service - Jukes offer the kind of excellent, personalised service often only seen in family-run businesses such as theirs. If you are looking for an estate or lettings agent in the South Norwood area I'd highly recommend Jukes.

I wanted to rent a flat and was impressed with one property from Jukes & Co. Despite the fact that agent was late and did not seem to know much about the flat. So, I applied for it and went through referencing (Without putting on a holding deposit which was strange). After a while, we get a call from an agent that the tenant actually wants to stay in the flat. However, the flat was still advertised which did seem a bit strange again. A week later, it turns out the flat was rented out to someone else. I do not recommend renting from this company as it all seemed a bit dodgy.

My boyfriend and I moved into our new flat a week ago. The process of our referencing checks was long and stressful with little communication (although these are carried out by a third party). However, that is the only negative thing I can say about the experience. Our estate agent, Grant Cadman, is responsive, polite and very helpful! He has helped with every niggling issue regarding moving in, no matter how small. We are really happy and grateful, especially after having both dealt with a lot of rude, difficult estate agents before. So far, I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family!

I arranged a viewing that I could no longer make, so I called up to see if my partner could attend on my behalf, they said this would be fine. My partner showed up at the property and after a 15 minute wait my partner was refused a viewing. No one came to meet them despite the office being nearby, my partner had to call to be told they weren't going to show him the property. First of all they were told they couldn't view the propety because I wasn't present (although confirmed this was fine over the phone) then we were told the property was not suitable for us - however no one from Jukes thought to email or call us before we travelled all the way there. Such an unprofessional and rude way to be treated. Really upset and disappointed. Won't be dealing with Jukes again.NegativeProfessionalism

Back in 2006 i purchased a property from Jukes and Co and found the professionalism, courtesy and just honest approach to be of the highest quality. When i decided to rent the same property out in 2017, I had no hesitation in approaching Jukes to deal with the letting side of things. Out of all the bad stories you see and hear about, it natural to worry about just who is going to live in your house. But Jukes found me a tenant in a million. So when i now decided to sell this property, i was only ever going to one agent to help with the sale. They are straight forward to deal with and communication is excellent . If you have a property for sale or to be let in the South Norwood area (and surrounding area's) I would reccomend Jukes and co every single time over some of the other supposed bigger name agents. Simon Jukes is a diamond - knows his market, good common sense, calm manner, great at handling both parties to a transaction (we've bought and sold with him and both times he's soothed the frustrations and kept everyone sensible), he's proactive keeping things moving along, and most importantly I trust his integrity. Paula had an offer on our flat that we could have been persuaded to accept - she did the honest thing rather than the easy thing and advised us to hold out because she thought she could do better for us. We did and she did. It's a shame they're not on every High Street - but if they were they wouldn't be what they are!

Gave me wrong address for viewing, when I called they rudely advised the agent wasn’t in and she couldn’t read her writing to determine where the viewing was. She then hung up and called back advising that actually the viewing had been cancelled and they had called me 3/4 times that morning to tell me (they really hadn’t). I really wouldn’t use, so many agents to chose from, don’t use these guys!

Jukes weren’t even in charge of selling my flat, although I wish they had been. Jukes were agents for the new property I was purchasing and were so helpful, responsive and organised they really put my estate agents to shame. They were the only reason our chain didn’t collapse - I would definitely use them next time.
