GoogleEmmie-Lou did a fantastic job selling our apartment. Even after our first buyer fell through, she remained positive and managed to quickly find another great buyer. Throughout the process, she remained very proactive, ensuring constant communication between myself, sellers and lawyers. I really appreciate all her hard work in getting the sale completed and would happily recommend others selling in the area

I'd like to thank the whole team at John D Wood in South Kensington and in particular Umar and Angelo for introducing a buyer and working together with all parties (solicitors, managing agents, freeholders, buyer and vendor) in a friendly, personalised and dedicated way from start to finish. Although the whole process - from offer and sales memorandum till exchange of contracts and completion of the sale at the agreed price - took approximately 12 weeks, Umar and Angelo have always kept me informed of every single step towards achieving a successful sale. It was often just a text or quick phone call - even on a Sunday - which kept me motivated throughout the process. I believe that with John D Wood I have been in very good hands and would therefore highly recommend them.

TrustpilotDeposit nightmare solved
We have recently had to move during COVID. It was incredibly stressful and made worse when we found ourselves unable to access our deposit back through no fault of our own. At first I was not happy with the responses I was getting until Rupert Simmonds stepped in. He went above and beyond to cut through red tape and help us to get our deposit back in full. Rupert is a credit to John D Wood!

Really bad when it comes to services. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 2 months. Always some lame excuse for not paying back. There is an property manager named Moesha, who will never address any query but will just be harsh I hope to give below 1 star but that the least i can go.

Claire has been excellent in helping us find a rental properly from abroad. She was super flexible with our requirements and timing and always kept us in the loop once we found the property. She did an extra video viewing and asked many questions to current tenants on our behalf. I would highly recommend Claire and her team and if were to rent again would definitely use them!

I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

GoogleI recently rented a property in Pimlico. Louna Del Barrio was the letting agent and was super helpful and efficient getting me into the property. Seamless service very professional. Will definitely use them again.

GoogleProfessional, efficient, and seamless. My experience was excellent. Some agents will show you whatever they have and it ends up wasting a lot of time. My agent with JDW was Kate Martin, she listened to what I was looking for and showed me the perfect place almost instantly. Kate was also very responsive and in general made the whole process seamless. In short, no wasted time, an easy move, and a great flat. Everything you want from a lettings agent.

GoogleRecently rented a property with Kate Martin, after looking at so many properties prior to finding this one. Kate was super helpful, after I gave her the specifics of what I was looking for in a property, she sent through a few relevant listings, which fit our budget and what we were looking for. The whole process was very smooth from the moment we decided on the property - Kate was always very prompt in responding to our many questions we had (as this was the first time we were renting in the London market), and letting us know what the next steps were. Thank you Kate for making the sometimes painful process of looking for a place to live, as smooth as possible!

I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleKate Martin.. ..... Where do I start? To say she changed my life to a dream life is certainly no understatement. I came to her looking to downsize into a flat from a huge 5 bedroomed house after a dreadful divorce. I didn’t want to be there and found fault with everything ever other estate agent found me. Some were dire and I wouldn’t even go in. She patiently and professionally took me around Primrose Hill for over a year. She waited whilst I found reasons why I couldn’t see myself living there. Kate called when she said she would and is always at the top of her game. I don’t know how she does it but she always is the first to know gems of properties. Kate found me the most beautiful garden flat, light and full of love. It also comes with a land lady who is joyous! I never want to move. Thank you Kate. You are the new class of estate agents. You give estate agents a great name. Thank you for helping me to get my new and happy life.

GoogleI had a recommendation from a friend and former resident to live in Primrose Hill. He convinced me that this was the place of my next home after Tokyo. And the options offered by Kate made it so. I saw one flat, gorgeous, that was already in process for a deposit, but it was so useful to have a sense of the quality of flats in the area and the kindness and sense of community of people who let and own them. The second flat she showed me - having sent the details with photos the previous night - was an immediate "What do I do to live here?" reaction. The selection, the follow-up, the whole process was simple, clear and efficient. Once you decide on a flat, they decide it's your flat with you. It was that kind of interest and commitment I needed, having never dealt with the UK/London housing market. Thanks, Kate!

GoogleMy husband and I rented a property managed by John D Wood. We worked with several people at the Primrose Hill office, but Harriet Strickland was particularly helpful. Fortunately we didn't have any issues while we lived there and when we decided to move they were very thoughtful about having potential renters view the flat. Finally, Harriet was nice enough to help me six months after we left the property with some paperwork. Truly a pleasant experience. Thanks!
