Julian Mason, the branch manager, was very professional in his dealings on this property. The information we received was always correct and straightforward . He was acting for the Seller and I was acting for the Purchasers. There were various twists and turns due to personal circumstances of the Seller and Buyers but with an open dialogue between all parties facilitated by Julian, we were able to exchange on the property last week. I was extremely impressed with the sales team in the Chiswick office. I have had previous, extremely negative experiences with other local agents, however, I can confidently state that the team here are professional, dedicated, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. They sold our house in Bedford Park in a quiet period of the market, just after the stamp duty holiday had ended, however at no point did I feel the difficult task of achieving our desired sales price within our specified time-frames was too much to handle, and the advice we received from Julian their Branch Sales Manager was simply exemplary! My partner and I were passively looking to upgrade from our existing flat and had some specific requirements if we were to move. We viewed and ultimately ended up letting a property through John D Wood via Lucy. Lucy was exceptional throughout the process including handover and ensuring inquiries were dealt with in a timely manner shortly after moving in. We viewed and paid a deposit all within 24 hours of viewing the property all with timely and constant communication. This was the second property that we had let while being abroad and I must say, the entire process went seamlessly and reassured us throughout. Any questions that we had were handled on the spot and if they weren't, they came back to us asap. The only slight downer on this experience was the fact the landlord wanted to add in a clause to increase the rent by 2-5% (after 12 months) less than 48 hours before we were due to fly in from Portugal and move in on the same day. This was after we'd signed the contract and paid all the required money. I don't hold John D Wood accountable for this as this is a landlords decision, however, I would have expected them to push back as this felt like it was negotiated in bad faith and seems unfair. Noting we had signed a 24 month contract with an 18-month break. That aside, I look forward to working with Lucy and the wider team of John D Wood in the future.

Julian and his team were helpful, friendly and effective throughout each of the following steps of the sale - from the initial photography session to viewings and negotiations through to the conveyancing process.
