GoogleKatie Sweetingham from JDW was an absolute delight and one of the better agents I've had the pleasure to work with. I called her after being given her details from a friend and I was not disappointed. She is professional, took time to listen, understood my requirements, tried her very best to find me properties that fit my needs and budget. I felt like she had my best interest at heart and made time around my schedule. She was always courteous even when my negotiations got tricky sometimes. I would highly recommend Katie and would call on her again should I be in the market for a property. Very happy with my new home.

GoogleI have been delighted with the excellent service I received from all of the John D Wood Chelsea team. It started with Katherine, who was the only property agent I met during my search that took the time to really understand what was important to me and as a result she quickly identified my ideal flat; a very professional and a lovely lady. Then she along with Ghiles, and Isaac made every effort to enable me to move into my new home in a very tight time scale. And now Tamara is taking excellent care of the day to day property management. Thank you all, your support is much appreciated
Thank you Tracey for your wonderful 5* review of our team at John D Wood. It is great to read that you felt supported throughout. Best wishes, Scott

GoogleHad a wonderful experience with Katie who was very thoughtful in the selection of apartments she showed us that matched our specific preferences and requirements, thanks to her attention to detail. She was very responsive, methodical and dependable with her follow ups. The office is knowledgeable and very up to date with available properties, and works with many landlords on a long term basis, Katie made the entire process hassle free, with good coordination among her colleagues for weekend cover. On top of everything, she’s got a wonderful personality, real energy and is a real pleasure to work with. I would have no reservations in recommending her to anyone in search of somewhere to live in the area..
Thank you Wan for recognising the brilliant level of service your received from Katie and the team at John D Wood with your 5* review! It is great to read that you found the entire process hassle free and that the whole team helped support you to your goal. Thank you so much for your kind recommendation and I would like to wish you the very best for the future. Kind regards, Scott.

TrustpilotJ D Wood deliver quick tenant find …
Our flat had been on the market with another leading agency for a while but we’d not received any response. It was amazing to see Tushar work to get the property listed and the J D Wood team turn it around within a week or so to get a tenant in. Super quick and efficient. Whole process was very smooth and professional.

TrustpilotKudos to Kate!
Kudos to Kate!! She's just amazing. As an overseas landlord, it's nearly impossible to know what's going on in my flat. But Kate is super communicative, and goes above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, I had my flat listed with another agency for months with no action. When I added John D Wood to help rent the flat, Kate found someone within a week. She's a real superstar and the company is lucky to have her. After all, what are estate agents but services from people? Without good people like her, they are nothing.

TrustpilotParsons Green Sale (Daniel Oxtoby, Molly & Adrian)
I've just sold my flat with John D Wood team in Parsons Green. Molly and Adrian made a great impression on our initial meeting and Daniel Oxtoby was excellent in progressing the sale. Daniel's friendly manner and attention to details was great. Daniel kept in regular contact with us and made sure we were up-to-date with events. Daniel's local knowledge and industry experience pre-empted several issues which led to an overall quick resolution. Great service all round from the team. Thank you!

TrustpilotAVOID THIS DISHONEST AGENCY
Worst real estate agency I've ever dealt with. Almost going to bring them to court. Razvan Boerean was our property manager. We have been trying to get our deposit back for more than a year. Every time we called there was some excuse like "He's out for lunch" or "He's on annual leave soon" followed by "he'll call you back". He didn't call us back and we've had to chase our deposit for months. It's been more than a year since we moved out and still haven't gotten our deposit back yet. Furthermore, our emails are just ignored and not even an explanation for such a delay or the costs of any deductions was given. Our naivete has been taken advantage of because we didn't know that our deposit insurance only lasted for 3 months and now they are very obviously just trying to steal our deposit. I have sent the last email to them with a 14 day deadline for an explanation or my deposit back. In a week if I don't receive anything I will take all the evidence I have and bring them to court. Avoid this unscrupulous company for your own safety.

TrustpilotBizarre
I contacted Claire Carter after receiving a leaflet through my door, to see if they are interested in selling my house. I had a visit from 'Charlotte' the same day, to do a valuation. Then I never heard from them again. Obviously not interested in selling houses. Timewasters. Bizarre.

TrustpilotProperty buying transaction…
I completed a flat buying transaction with David, Simon and team from John D. Wood Earl's Court London David and team were responsive and well understood my property expectations from start I was only contacted with regards to the viewing of properties that matched my requirements. The team went the extra miles to ensure that the final phase of the transactions was completed as expected. I would highly recommend the service of John D. Wood and most particularly, of Dacid and Simon who worked in partnership with me during that transaction

GoogleI’ve worked with a couple of estate agents over the last few years and I can’t recommend Katie Sweetingham from John D Wood enough. I had a very specific house criteria and she went over and beyond to help me find the perfect property which took us months to get right, yet she never gave up and constantly updated me on options! Definitely my go to for all lettings and sales moving forward!
Dear Kerry, thank you for your kind words for our dedicated John D Wood & Co team. It is great to read that they offered a service worthy of 5* and that Katie went over and beyond to help you find your perfect property. Kind regards Emma

TrustpilotExcellent support during a critical time
We’ve been impressed with the entire team at the Beckenham branch. Selling our parent's home to fund their residential care was a time-sensitive and emotional process, and the team guided us through it with professionalism. They were super-speedy with their responses and provided honest, invaluable advice at every step. Excellent support during such a critical time.

TrustpilotGreat experience with James Mander
I’ve been renting with John D Wood for about two years now, and it has been a great experience. We recently had a slightly unsettled handover when our previous property manager left, but our new property manager, James Mander, has been absolutely fantastic always quick to help and resolving any issues as soon as possible.

TrustpilotDO NOT GO WITH THEM
DO NOT GO WITH THEM. Poor communication from John D Wood. We wanted to purchase a property sold through them but their behaviour put us off. Holly from the Dulwich Branch was rude, unprofessional and not transparent in regards to process.

We had an amazing experience dealing with Kate Martin from the Primrose Hill branch. She really took her time with us and her knowledge of the Primrose Hill and NW London area is second to none. She would be our first call if looking for a property in this area.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
