I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

This company make an appearance of disorganization, but could not possible stay in business, if they were, indeed, as disorganized as they appear. Having managed to fend me off for three days whilst I was house-hunting in France; I finally found that the gem of a house I had found - in Perpignan - was taken off the market; in order that it could be purchased by a relative of one of the partners/directors of John D Wood. Worse than inefficient and unprofessional ... very close to fraudulent! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

GoogleOne of the best teams of Protima , Harry and Ashlee. Very transparent , best offers and a balanced view in tenants and homeowner . They even resolved the issues by getting sales and management teams together . Protima , even though was a sales person , helped us throughout our letting period . My experience was much better with this boutique compared to Big Brands.

I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

GoogleAndy Packer epitomises John D Wood Lettings at Wimbledon Village. We had been looking around Wandsworth / Putney / Wimbledon Village since Oct 2013. We did strike the deal, almost in Jan 2014 .. Thanks to Andy's excellent understanding of our requirement. However, things did not happen on time since few things were not in anyone's control. Andy made sure, he gave us the required time till Aug 2014 and got us a much more beautiful flat in a much nice part of Wimbledon Village / Park. We would never have enjoyed the search had it not been for Andy's understanding of our requirement. We highly recommend Andy Packer of John D Wood for a stress free Search!

GoogleI recently rented a property through the Wimbledon branch - I worked with Jonathon and Olivia, who within just 4 days of us finding a property we were interested in online, they got us in to see it, helped us with our offer letter, contacted the landlord and had the place taken off the market! Then within another 2 days had all the references and paperwork completed and ready. All with easy communication and quick response times. We have since been back into the property again to collect some measurements etc. and Jonathon came with a tape measure to help me out! I would highly recommend and would certainly work with these guys again!

GoogleWe worked with Andy Packer while looking for a suitable home for our family. it was a delight, very professional, reliable, extremely helpful and was constantly in touch. Overall was an amazing experience, we got a good house, the price was right. Looking for a house in London or relocating to the UK, John D Wood is the place to go, I bet they got a lot of Andy's who will sort you out. And YES i'll use John D Wood again and recommend them my family and friends. Big shout out to ANDY!!!

GoogleMy search mission started back in July 2013 with (Andrew Packer) @ John D Wood. and it was concluded around October again with Andy Packer @John.D.Wood. I found nothing but professionalism & genuine desire to help all the way , very patient ( I was very demanding tenant). Excellent job by Andy and team during the negotiating , very flexible and honest. I truly respect the effort made. Also I should note something about the maintenance team , they are great I have few issues when I checked within days everything was fixed and I'm happy ever after I have been in the property now for about 5 months and I'm really happy and look forward to extend my time here for another year or even more as business permits. GoogleI recently let a studio flat through John D Wood & Co, specifically Jonathon Manto who not only showed me the property and answered all my questions during the leasing process but also made himself available after the lease was signed. On the admin side Katie Glencross was patient and incredibly obliging when dealing with a first time foreigner lessee. It was a much smoother process than I could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend the team at John D Wood & Co Wimbledon.

GoogleThey have a fully incompetent agent called Bertie who failed n every level and as a result I lost a dream property. I’ve never found anything close to it ever since and suffering in silence. Instead of supporting me they blocked me after I complained and never made an effort to help.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative. Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.

GoogleAs a reluctant landlord renting out his own home, I was initially considering going agency-free, but have been won over by the John D Wood Wimbledon lettings team. Morgan in particular has been so forthcoming, professional and quick to respond with detailed feedback from viewings etc during a stressful transition period (as well as going above the call of duty following an emergency when i was out of town) that I now plan to stay with JDW for the foreseeable future...PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!
