GoogleBrilliant service from Inner City Estates start to finish. Lenka was an absolute star. They (Lenka, really) made a potentially very stressful move stress-free with rapid and clear communication and down-to-business attitude. There were no issues, hiccups or wait times at all. I would trust Lenka with any future moves and could not recommend her service highly enough! 5* service for Inner City Estates.

GoogleInner City Estates was such a breath of fresh air. Paul was so helpful for us as students who were really struggling to find somewhere as it was our first time renting privately. We couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent to answer our stupid questions!! Everyone here has been incredibly reliable and efficient; our new flat is really wonderful. Thank you Paul!

GoogleWhen we got the house, Lenka was very supportive and helped us get through the tenancy process with ease. Despite some hiccups, Lenka took care of everything and was personally involved. When negotiating rent, she looked after the welfare of not only the landlord but also us as tenants. Very happy with inner city estates

GoogleThe initial appointment, signing of the agreement etc. all went smoothly. No complaints there. However, my flatmate and I moved into the apartment to find it in a complete state of disarray. Sofa covered with rabbit hair. Radiators not working. Balcony door locks broken. The agent informed us that this wasn’t their responsibility and directed us towards the landlord - who took months to sort these issues out. I acknowledge that technically it was the landlord’s responsibility to maintain the apartment. However, I personally think agents should screen their landlords so they don't leave tenants with a bad landlord. Maybe that's just me. Six months in, I needed an amendment to the contract to remove my friend as the guarantor. They were initially quite rude and unhelpful on the phone to me and my friend when I spoke to them about this. I then spoke to Russell - who fortunately was swift and professional to deal with. This I was grateful for. Overall, it was a very bad experience, but they were no worse than the average UK estate agent.
Hi Vipin sorry to hear about your issues when you moved into property . Unfortunately with this property we did not arrange the professional clean ourselves as we do not manage the property and also landlord does checkin herself .Also because this is a non manged property all maintenance is down to landlord to arrange . As soon as you let us know about problems we did contact landlord but also advised you to send her email direct outlining issues . In regards to removal of Guarantor again as explained its not normal practise to remove a guarantor half way through tenancy as it defeats object of having one in the first place and that is why we were reluctant to let this happen . I dont recall anyone being rude in explaining this

GoogleI would highly recommend using Inner City Estates. I had a great experience working with Paul Goldie from Inner City Estates for renting my current flat. The whole process was seamless and fast. Paul is professional and friendly. He was so helpful with the whole renting process. He made it like a walk in the park for me! He sent me a list of contact numbers for utilities and he answered all my questions in real-time. Next time I rent a flat I will contact Inner City Estates again and recommend them to everyone I know.

GoogleUnfortunately couldn’t give no stars, had to give 1. Had really back experience within 2 seconds of approaching their office. Popped head into open door to enquire on lettings to then be shouted at in a very aggressive manner by the gentleman with glasses sitting at the back to get out of the shop when I had only stepped into the doorway. There was plenty of distance from the front door to the back of the office. Never have I been spoken to like that for approaching a shop. I feel this type of abrupt behaviour and such a rude tone is no good for customer services or for people’s general feelings. If customers are not allowed to enter the shop then this should be made clear with a nigh to state this or with safety measures in hand before opening up. I should not be made to feel humiliated and belittled for asking a question when your door is open! Never will I recommend due to this first impression. Whoever the gentleman is at the back please remember especially during time’s like this kindness is only just a small gesture. #BeKind
Hi first of all i would like to apologise if you feel you were treated in an aggressive manner . Even though our office is open the door is normally locked and we are not at present letting anyone enter due to social distancing but because it was so hot that day and our air conditioning not working the door was open. You actually caught as by surprise when you entered so i again if i startled you with my reaction i sincerely apologise . Wishing you all the best with your property search

Having to view a property virtually and install your trust in someone else can be quite daunting but Paul was on hand to reassure and answer any and every query we had throughout the process. GoogleNever thought that dealing with a real estate agency in London would have been so easy, friendly and efficient. Paul was really helpful and quick to schedule and sort out everything that was needed. Everything was communicated perfectly and all processes and requirements made sense. GoogleMy partner and I moved in a flat managed by Inner City Estates. The case was assigned to Paul, who took care of us for all the steps apart from the viewing, which was held by Russell. Both were very professional throughout and Paul has managed to accomodate our needs in regards to sealing the deal and move into the flat and made the whole process easy and smooth.

GoogleWe viewed a place in Stratford, expressed our interest and put the holding deposit down a few hours later. The landlord posed as a letting agent, allowing us to believe he was a third party. After confirming our place, sending our holding deposit and pre-application details, he confirmed it was off the market to anyone else but the very next day the property was let. He had moved forward with other tenants without informing us. Would advise a stringent approach with this “company”.
To receive such a review is very disappointing and misleading. Firstly, Paul is employed as a letting agent for Inner City Estates and he is not the landlord. The property you viewed is owned by an independent landlord so your comment about the landlord posing as a letting agent is untrue. Shortly after viewing the property with him, you paid a deposit and placed an offer by email. You asked Paul why the property was still being advertised after you paid a deposit and he explained that all properties stay live on the websites until an offer had been put forward and accepted As part of your offer, you stressed the importance for you to move in on 20th June as your current tenancy was ending on that date. He explained this would be very difficult and tried to put this back a little, as the current tenants were leaving just a day or two before on a weekend, so it would be hard organising cleaning, repairs and an inventory in time. You also requested several repairs, as part of your offer and although you were flexible to have the work done after move in, the landlord agreed that the works were necessary but said his personal preference would be to have the property empty for a couple of weeks between tenancies so that he could carry out the required works. Mainly due to needing a fully tiled Kitchen floor replaced. The landlord then asked us to stop marketing the property as available on the sites to prevent further viewings and therefore it was listed as let. You mentioned to Paul on many occasions, that you were not in a position to delay your move date by even a day, let alone a few weeks so as a result we offered you an refund on your holding deposit which you seemed grateful for and this was actioned immediately. Having reviewed the text conversations, I can see that Paul has acted with nothing but integrity and professionalism and although we understand that you wanted to take this property you stated throughout the negotiation process it wasn’t feasible for you to wait a few weeks and therefore leaving such a review is both incorrect and unjust. We wish you well in your search going forward.

As a representative, she appeared unprepared and directed clients to the website for property information. Despite attempts to offer guidance, her grasp of the subject matter seemed insufficient. Additionally, she often interrupted others when lacking pertinent information herself. It was evident that she was not suited for the role of selling properties, which demands a higher level of proficiency compared to managing rental properties, where her strengths may lie.
Sorry to hear you were not happy with service received . I am very surprised about your comments , Lenka has on numerous occasions dealt with and successfully handled sales to a very high standard and received high praise from both vendors and Buyers

GoogleI used Inner City Estates to rent a flat in Bow. Paul was friendly and professional.Really good communications. Not max valuation just for the quickly viewing and not much clarity about some forniture in the flat, maybe because of covid restrictions and previous tenants were still in the flat at that moment, so it's justifiable. In general satisfied with the whole renting process.
