GoogleAs a first time buyer I was a little nervous entering the property ladder but the professional service offered by Huttons Property was top class and exceeded all expectations from an estate agent. From day one of seeing the property online we were able to get a viewing for the following day to an offer accepted by the next week. Huttons dealt with all questions and completely put myself at ease during the process. The clear & constant communication really helped clarify a lot of things and they were always on hand to help with anything and Jamie went out of his way to ensure that all needs were met. Amelia, it's disheartening to see your review, Prior to your review, you had reached out to us via email, explicitly stating that if we didn't permit to your request for a mortgage survey (on a property that is sold on the basis of cash purchase only, and you have agreed to proceed as a cash purchaser), you would resort to attempting to tarnish our reputation with negative feedback on Google.
This pre-emptive threat puts your review in a different light, it appears less like genuine feedback and more like a tactic aimed at coercion.
As you're aware, the property you're referring to was advertised and sold with the explicit understanding that it's only suitable for a cash purchase, a detail you acknowledged in your comments/review above.
Your attempt to schedule a mortgage survey for a property designated for cash purchase only understandably raised concerns and necessitated our refusal. Our seller is also in agreement that we cancel the mortgage survey given the property was sold a on cash purchase only, and is non mortgagable property.
Throughout this transaction, your conduct has been less than professional, marked by multiple unwarranted threats of negative reviews when agreements weren't met to your satisfaction. Such behavior undermines the collaborative spirit necessary for successful transactions.
Additionally, the delays in this sale have stretched well beyond our initially targeted timelines, largely due to issues stemming from your end. Despite these challenges, we've endeavored to navigate the process professionally and in accordance with our client's wishes, the sellers. Our seller is extremely frustrated with the delays caused and is unhappy with you as the buyer and the way you have conducted yourself throughout this transaction.
We're confident that our clients and consumers who peruse/read our Google reviews will grasp the rationale behind our decision to decline a mortgage survey for a property designated for cash purchase only, and will note your unprofessionalism as a prospective buyer.
Based on our experience, we won't be engaging in future dealings with you as either a buyer, seller, or landlord. We value professionalism and cooperation in all our interactions, qualities that have unfortunately been lacking in this instance.
